  Just expensive because it was the place where Tom Jobim uses to live. The rest sux. Cheap breakfast. Ambient is not cool and rooms have few charging spots. I was completely disappointed

  Went there for a barbecue. The place is nice, small but clean pool, the employees were nice and the whole experience went very well.

  I HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT YOUR BONITA HOSTEL ROOM 22.
  
  EVERYTHING IS PERFECT EXCEPT THAT THE DOOR LOCK IN MY ROOM IS NOT WELL-LOCKED WHEN I LOCK IT WITH THE ROOM KEY FROM THE OUTSIDE. THAT IS, THE DOOR CAN PUSHED EASILY OPEN , EVEN IF ONE LOCK IT ALREADY FROM THE OUTSIDE.
  
  PLRASE THE SECURITY OF THE DOOR , FOR THE PEACE OF MIND OF YOUR NEXT HOSTEL GUEST IN THIS ROOM NUMBER 22.

  We enjoyed our one night stay in Ipanema. The hostel was very conveniently located, breakfast was good and it was easy to share stories with other travellers in the friendly atmosphere. We rented bikes from the hostel which made it easy to cover Copacabana and Ipanema. Room was clean and comfortable and free luggage storage and well researched city map was very helpful. Friendly staff.

  Very good location, a lively bar, decent price. Interesting history of Jobim. However, the shared toilets are not cleaned frequently, so get dirty in the evening.
  Some guests are loud late at night (having loud conversations at 5am outside the bar).
  
  This is a cheap hostel. Go if you like to party, not if you like to sleep.

  Great location in Ipanema. Safe. Rooms clean. Good breakfast. A bit noisy due to the people staying at the bar late at night.
