Good prices and an option of a great Copacabana view. Those are the main reasons why I tried the hotel. I would definitely come again. The breakfast is included and it usually cost 40 reales in the restaurant. Being over the Atlantic Avenue offers a great variety of things to do during the day and the night.

It is a cozy hotel in a very nice place in Copacabana. We didn't have the compketw view to Copacabana beach, but it was OK. The breakfast is fantastic and the areas are clean. Only two concerns: the internet connection is not stable and the room are not fresh (once the air-condition are locates near to the floor). So, for spending winter in Rio de Janeiro is nice, not during the summer. In general it is simple and nice.

This place might not be an awesome one as per as interior and amenities are in concern, but following are the key points which distinguishes this hotel to be very effective and useful for people who wants great value for money. So, here are the points as I promised:
Pros:
1. Located on Avenida Atlantico, just in front of copacabana. Beach is just a road cross away. Very near to Posto 5.
2.This hotel is located just beside the office of RioMaximo, the most renowned and famous guided tour company in Rio. So, you have no hassle in coordinating the tours with them. Just come downstairs and you are set.
3. There is a great beach fair which happens almost everyday a week from 5PM in the evening till 11PM (unless there is bad weather) This you will find right in front of the hotel. Here you will find all the souvenirs for taking back memories also won't be heavy on your pocket. Great place to hop in to see the variety of stuff with reasonable prices. You can even bargain a bit if you are a bit comfortable in conversational spanish or Portuguese.

4. Hotel has a breakfast place up on the 12th floor which gives you great view of copacabana with Pao de Azucar on the farthest corner of it. Its a great panorama to take back as a memory with.
5. Hotel is at a very convenient location with equal distance from both Christ the Redeemer and Pao de Azucar.
Cons:
1. Rooms are not much classy but are fine with the cleanliness.
2. Bathrooms are bit too small for moving freely. It may feel uncomfortable for people with bigger dimensions. But what i am talking about is of standard rooms. Scenario can be different for deluxe or other prime suites.
3. Sometimes, they are not agile and quick and can take considerable time to hand over rooms to you. The same happened with us and although there was prior booking, we had to wait 15-20 minutes more than check-in time to grab the keys finally.
But, having said it all, I will recommend this hotel for sure to people because the pros are much heavier on the cons.response / report this review -

Since I live in Rio de Janeiro, I've been to this hotel only for the breakfast with a Copacabana beach view. The view is amazing, the breakfast is simple, but it's a budget. Only R$30,00 (US$9.00)
