The rooms are simple but functional. I had a problem with the eletronic lock from one door, but nothing that problematic.

The food was ok and the attendance was fairly quick, the only problem I had was that the staff messed up my order, however that was quickly taken care of.

Great sociable vibe definitely helped by free caipirinhas every evening, met lots of great people. Location is perfect for the beach, and pretty easy to get into central once you work out the buses which the staff will help you to do. Lots of good tour suggestions and advice too. Breakfast is OK but very sugary! The beds are comfy although top bunks are super close to the ceiling. Bathrooms not the cleanest I've seen but not terrible, and shower is decent. Kitchen and dining area way too small. When I arrived there was lots of painting and disruption but no explanation or apology given. Liked it here.
