Old room, the drain in the bathroom floor did not have any cover so the maid put the garbage bucket over the hole in the floor :-) the reception are a smelled like propane or gas of some kind, when notified to the staff on duty they said they already knew..

Place looks like it needs some refurbishment . Otherwise good location to explore Rio, near to beach, Metro and good restaurants. Should improve the quality of WiFi. Terrible.

Very friendly staff and willing to help you out with any difficulty you may have as a guest.
Very well located, close to restaurants and bars and Leblon shopping mall.
The beach is across the road and there's free service of towels, parasol, table and deck chairs.response / report this review -

Went there for drinks and lunch at the second floor restaurant. Really friendly staff, nice food at a reasonable price, incredible view. Recommended for a different program for locals or even someone who's staying at a different hotel.

This hotel needs a complete renovation. I drank the water from the lobby and instantly got sick. The rooms are unsanitary looking, my room was missing a hairdryer. The rooms are not worth what they are charging. On the positive side; great location, views. But not worth the room rate.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location, close to a nice place of Leblon Beach and walking distance bars and restaurants. This is an old hotel and even the renewed apartments are not good. They put us in a room where the air conditioner seemed like a train engine as it was sooo noisy. Waiting line for breakfast. It was fast but I never experienced something like that.

Attended to an event at the 26th floor. It has an amazing view up there! I highly recommend it for the view.

I have stayed in this hotel for two weeks. It's a good hotel but bit expensive though. Located in Leblon..one of the safest places. Breakfast is good. This hotel has best WiFi I have ever used. Rooms are not sound proof. That's a bit of problem. My room air-conditioner made some noise. I have faced some language problem here. Because of that there is some misunderstanding and I had to check out one day before my actual check out day. Apart from these problems.. It's a good hotel to stay.
