Hotel with excellent location, comfortable rooms and nice rooftop with great view of the surroundings. Good breakfast, but a quite ugly exterior of the building.

Hotel walls are too thin, so you can hear everything from other neighbours. The hotel also has a really miserable atitude towards customers. I left the breakfast area while eating a muffin and a really rude woman came on to me shouting out that i could not take a muffin out of there and that next time i would have to pay for it. If i get trated like that for a muffin im eating already im not coming back.

Great Location! Very close to Arpoador (great sunset) and Ipanema beach, which is better than Copacabana. Gotta try the Delícias do Cerrado popsicles close by. They're made with typical fruit from Brazil.

Very clean and new room. I have to deduct one star because my back quickly figured out that the bed was two much smaller beds pushed together to make it appear as one. Why skimp on the most essential - the room was obviously refurbished recently.

We stayed there for 3 nights as part of our tour. We are a family of four with young kids (10 and 5 yrs old). The rooms are OK for size, but the bathrooms are small for 4. The pool and the cafe area next to it could use a little more care. Cleaning was not remarkable. The food and the service at the restaurant was very good, but front desk staff was not overly polite and caring and maybe this comes from the low level of English. Some staff just responded in Portuguese and as much as I was accommodating in my efforts to understand, it would be better if their language skills are improved.
