The staff was as friendly as can be! However, the hotel smelled, the quality of the air was not good and I shared my room with many small bugs. The food was definitely not good and one day as I was getting dressed, I heard someone opening my door. I assumed that it was just the cleaning lady, but it was another guest! His key was able to open my room door. I have since shifted to another hotel and am having a much better more comfortable experience.
I would not recommend this hotel, unless you truly cannot afford more.response / report this review -

I have been 7 nights in this hotel.
Rooms are very old and not so clean.
Breakfast buffet is ridiculous: you have like 50 people in a very very small room with no windows
Almost no sheets on the bed: we had to ask to do a proper bed.
They try to charge for a shower after the check-out; in case you need.
Only good thing is the view on Copacabana beach. Otherwise it has 0 valueresponse / report this review -

Great location with excellent views..right on the beach..rooms small but clean and staff pleasant and courteous..my family and I loved Rio..it's great sights and the politeness of the people made this for a wonderful holiday destination..

5* for beautiful view from top of the roof.
5* for location.
4* for rooms. A bit small for that price but clean.
3.5 * for swimming pool (small and water is dirty)
3* for restaurant. Very small room. Sometimes you have to wait outside until first guest will finish their breakfast.response / report this review -

Orla is super located for Copacabana and Ipanema access and the views from rooftop terrace is breathtaking, cleanliness is very good but they are missing a real bar or a restaurant. During the day the foodservice provides a small selection that they serve at the rooftop. Pool is super tiny and not very clean. The exercise gym has 2 treadmills and a not fully functional multi benc, plus some small weights, nothing else. I would not call it a gym. have not been other hotels in Rio to see the competition standard

The hotel is located in an ideal location in Copacabana beach which is very close to Ipanema beach & Forte de Copacabana (Copacabana Fort) as well. Direct beach access, many restaurant options are the advantages. The breakfast buffet is also good. Wifi is fast & OK. Staff was also helpful. Only drawback was slightly small rooms.

We are here for Christmas and Revelion. Staff is very friendly so far, breakfast buffet has many options and the standard room is clean and quiet. Just cross the street to Copacabana.

Great location. The staff can be okay or not so great. They tend to all group up and chat amongst themselves and even though there's a line, they don't acknowledge you until they feel that they are ready. Not all staff are bad.
