Friendliest hotel ever. Staff speaks good English and very hospitable. Clean and cozy room. Free WiFi. Most impressively, free airport transfer and shuttle service to locations around the city. Location is somewhat nearby city attractions, if you don't mind a bit of a walk. There's a local market nearby (Tamu Kianggeh) where you can get traditional breakfast and maybe take a boat ride to Kg Air.

Feel dissapointed cuz the hotel got really high score on many websites.
We arrive very late and found that there is no hot shower ,no tooth brush no TV remote（actually the TV doesnt work at all） in the room.The facility is a little bit old but clean.The next day no room cleaning is offered even though i already said that I need it.Breakfast is not bad and the staff are friendly.Free shuttle service will be the reason to choose this hotel next time.response / report this review -

Amazing hotel!!!! Free shuttle service and also pick up to a from airport included in your stay! A great location and ready for you to stay in the Sultanate of Brunei!

The hotel is very clean, very good breakfast, and all the staff are very helpful. A very nice place to get relax, and easy to go to some interested place since they offer free shuttle every 2 hours. I really recommend this place for new comer who just visit Brunei, you will fell at home.

We were very pleased with our stay. They offered a complementary pick up and drop off at the airport, and a free shuttle bus to take you to the major sites in Brunei. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is child friendly and happily provided a cot (at a small charge). The rooms are neat and tidy and appropriate for the price. Breakfast is served all morning (very helpful when getting over jet lag) and is simple but nice enough. It does offer omelettes made to order.

Very good service and friendly staff. They offer a convenient regular free shuttle to the major sites in Brunei. Breakfast is really nice and rooms are comfortable, the suite is especially nice. The Capital Residence Suite exceeded my expectations and would recommend staying here.

I could not be more pleased with my stay at The Capital Residence Suites. I wanted a place that was going to be near the city center, be a reasonable price, and include pickup from the ferry terminal. This hotel went FAR ABOVE and beyond my needs. I was truly impressed with their service. Plus I saved a lot of money (and stress!) by staying here. Let me explain:
- Their shuttle came to pick me up from the ferry terminal (I had arrived from Kota Kinabalu), saving me about $30-40 for a taxi. The driver took me on the scenic route so I could do some sightseeing on the way into the city.
- The hotel staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They greeted me by name and immediately helped me plan out my short stay in the city.
- They coordinated a time for me to use the hotel shuttle to go to the night markets (saving me another $20+)
- The shuttle not only took me to the night market, but also drove me around afterward to take photos of the Sultan's palace and one of the mosques
- Breakfast was better than I expected! Freshly prepared omelettes and other nice foods
- The staff were kind enough to arrange an early shuttle for me back to the ferry terminal (at an earlier time than they usually take guests)
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the staff and the hotel. I could tell from the moment I was picked up at the ferry terminal that these people strive to go above and beyond with their customer service. And it really made a difference in my stay. I felt well taken care of, and that if I had any needs, I could go to them for their help.
I highly recommend staying at the Capital Residence Suites, and the next time I'm in Brunei I will plan to stay here again.response / report this review
