Fantastic hotel, one of the older buildings in this area (if you can call it old) but very smart. Huge rooms (basically an apartment), great staff, superb pool and roof top bar with an outstanding buffet on a Saturday night. Gym is good and the bar on the eleventh floor has an amazing city view at night. Can't fault it other than the newer, much larger hotels are swallowing it up!

The first room we were put in had a bad smell in the master bedroom. We were changed to a different room across the hall without much trouble.
The rooms were clean and well maintained, if a little dated.
the shower in the master bedroom was a disappointment. The water pressure from the jets and shower head was non-existent. We all had to use the shower in the twin bedroom. The temperature in this shower fluctuated a lot, so you had to get in and out of the water to stop from being burned when it got hot.
There was a concert on across the street which kept me awake until very late at night because it was so loud. We were not informed that there would be a concert.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but with a few things to watch out for.response / report this review -

Check in was slow - rooms are spacious - location was good - swimming pool was under maintenance and they notified me earlier by email which is a good gesture - TV needs enhancement

I my kids enjoyed the Christmas tree.. this hotel always makes me feel like home.. I would recommend adding small hand towels in the bathrooms, only big ones were available ..

It was good experience. I recommend to others. The bed mattress is very comfortable. The sofa on the hall was not that clean as expected.

The room was beautiful. I got more than expected for the cost. The food was good. Nothing exceptional, but decent food at typical hotel restaurant prices. The service was excellent. From front desk to cleaning service to wait staff, all were very pleasant and helpful.

Check in was smooth- We had delayed settling down in our room as by mistake we were sent to the room which was not prepared by 2:15 pm. It took extra 15 mins. Staff was courteous and professional. Breakfast was good and can be improved further. One day the staff regretted to provide eggs, which was then reversed with escalation. Room service was good for any complaints. Internet was fine. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience staying and had a home like experience during this short trip. the location is excellent. some refurbishment is required in rooms.

i have stayed in this hotel for fourteen days in the month of Feb.. Awesome place.I really liked the rooms which are spacious and well maintained.The place is very clean and near to City center mall.The ambiance is very good and Front desk always asked about my stay with smile.Housekeeping staff are friendly. Food in the restaurant was good. they provided me customized Indian menu whenever requested.Chefs are very cooperative.overall the best place to stay.

- Check in was very smooth and took short time to complete the process. At contrary, the check out.
- I did not use the food or beverage service due to knowing the poor-quality materials used to cook including the poultry and oil.
- Parking is a real issue in this hotel which need to be solved.
- TV quality is below average.
- Channels verity need more improvement.

Good and neat hotel with nice modern facilities. It would have been nice if some face towels were provided in the bathroom. Rest all good. Internet was fantastic to complete my days work. The front desk helped me with this when I requested good speed during check in. I did not face any issues during my stay.

Always the best place to stay in Bahrain and good value for money. The staff are the best and are always willing to help us, from housekeeping to the front desk. Everyone is so helpful. I absolutely love staying here and will continue to do so. Thank you to you all at the Elite Grande.

This is one of the few of my favorite hotels so far. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is the "fair use" policy on internet access. The up and down speed is limited to 1 mbps, which is far less than average (I've been to hotels which have reliable free wifi with speeds up to 40 mbps).
Huge enterprises like my university have an average of 11 mbps with fair use policy where they restrict the speed after heavy use is detected, but not before. The 1 mbps limit looks very slow even for loading images on simple websites like Twitter.
Make your free wifi a bit faster and you may attract more loyal customers, including me. I recommend at least 4 mbps.response / report this review -

Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff trying their best in meeting guests demands and requests. TV programs can be more varied and more channels made available. Malls are nearby
