Movenpick is approximately a 5 minute walk from the airport, but you feel like it is a resort located many miles away. It is a beautiful hotel, with a fantastic pool and an excellent gym. The breakfast is sumptuous, with so many different selections from so many different places. The staff are friendly, helpful and warm. They provide a free shuttle to the center of Manama as well.

I had booked a king room, I received a twin room and the front office staff were not prepared to change. I asked the next morning to be moved to another room as my neighbour had a non stop crying child. I was told to come back at 4pm. I came back to the hotel at 5h15pm. I was told I would be moved in an hour. I was never moved.
I found mouldy Edam cheese on the breakfast buffet. The breakfast spread is poor for a Movenpick hotel.
I came to Bahrain to test rooms for the F1 Grand Prix - your hotel has been taken off my list as I would not want one of my clients to have the experience I had.response / report this review -

The top rated airport hotel in the world, Mövenpick Bahrain really does live up to its titles and prizes. The room was inspected and ready in 5 minutes after we checked in and looked magnificent. Breakfast buffet had a great variety and included alcohol and pork for non-Muslims.

I love the breakfast buffet! Look forward to indulging every time I visit! Absolutely outstanding. Love the poached eggs with hollandaise and spinach! Keep up the good work.
The only change I would make would be to have a light on in the room when you check in after dark. I understand that the key card activates the lights but it IS nice to at least have a small light on in the room to get your bearings.response / report this review -

I had my wedding here, and everything was just superb. The ease and convenience for me in getting everything arranged was the best part. The stay at the Hotel was also impeccable and aligned with 5 star service.

I was thoroughly impressed with the staff and service that I received while staying at the Movenpick. I was especially pleased with the breakfast and the front door customer services. Numerous co-workers of mine recommended the Movenpick, to me. I personally, was glad that I went with your Hotel & Resort for my second stay in Bahrain. This is my place of choice when I'm visiting. Went for the Friday brunch - Lots of buffet items to choose from. My favourite is the wok station. You get to choose how you would like your meats, fish or vegetables cooked. Choices include Thai, grilled , stir fried etc. There are several vegetables you can include also. It's a bit in the pricey side so you may want to call to check the price. Reservation are recommended, it's very popular. There's also a live band playing a variety of music, Latin, pop, oldies etc.

My favourite hotel in the Middle East. A great location or he airport, ten minutes from the city center. A nice walking track around the lake. The buffet is astonishing. Best aspect of all - the staff, they are all professional and gracious. Highly recommended.

Great view, place.
Room was clean, bed is comfortable, pillows aren’t .
I liked the lobby with the Christmas decoration.
Very friendly staff.
Restaurant is okay, not too many options for breakfast.
Bar is good, great for relaxing.

Close to the Bahrain airport, yet silent. Has rooms with views to the lagoon. Seemingly an old hotel with a decent upkeep. Good facilities & a wide buffet breakfast spread. WiFi connectivity ( signal strength) in the room needs immediate improvement.

Came to the Friday brunch and so far our of the other 3 places I've give this place is hands down the best, Amazing good selection, great specialty bars for free and a full bar on the patio deck. Live music great atmosphere.

Stayed here for almost two weeks. Was very happy with the customer service, in particular the poolside host Eman. He made sure my group was well taken care of, and he always had a smile on his face.
Morning buffet(included in room cost) was outstanding.
My only complaints:
Room card needed to remade every few days for some reason. They would sporadicly just stop working.
Drinks and food are a bit pricey. Great quality- but expensive.response / report this review -

Excellent Friday Brunch. Great food spread. Includes alcohol for a reasonable price. More of a party atmosphere with live entertainment vice a relaxing atmosphere.

I stayed for a night in the hotel before my honeymoon. And the room service and preparations were amazing. They offer shuttle services to and from the airport. We also tried the weekly buffet, same thing. every plate was well thought off. Well prepared. And delicious. If you are planning on staying for a couple of days in Bahrain then the Movenpick hotel should be one of your top choices.

It's a very nice hotel close to the airport, but still a calm place. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The spa in this hotel is a highlight. Me and family had a pleasant stay here. When I made some suggestions on their services in their website, to my surprise, they responded immediately in a proactive and positive way.

Amazing service. Very enjoyable stay. The shower in the room was a bit small and the shower door did not work well. Food was fantastic and I have to say again, that the service at all areas of the hotel was absolutely fantastic. I recommend this hotel.

A super property, very close to Bahrain international airport. Great ambiance, rooms are good and spacious. Service quality is top notch. Restaurant and food choices are good. Great business venue, I normally stay here since it is too close to my business interest. Overall a great place.
