Breakfast was a wast of money; Eggs, sausage, some fruit. It wasn't good but mostly it wasn't worth the £20 (there's a coffee shop just across the street, much better choice).
Room was large and staff was very kind.
If you're not here for work, don't bother staying around this area. Nothing to do. Nothing to sed.response / report this review -

Stayed for business trip. This hotel excelled at the following: Friendly staff. Wired in addition to wireless Internet. Easy to control strong shower. Ironing board in the room. Mini bar fridge had space for personal items. Comfy bed also.

Great hotel, very comfortable rooms, good quality service, excellent spa, good food, VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL STAFF! Stefka and her team made our stay (11 people on stag weekend from UK) a very comfortable one! Highly recommended!!

High standard Holiday Inn. Friendly & helpful staff. Good sized, clean & modern bedrooms. Good breakfast and bar service. Would recommend if visiting Sofia Business Park.

Booked tonight stay with rewards night.
To begin with, outside the normal standard they preauthorised my debit card for £103. Which inconveniently made an urgent transaction that I had to make several days ago declined. Fortunately my bank did not charged me an overdrafted fee.
Whilst other Holiday Inn / HI Express / StayBridge/ Intercontinental in the various part of the world (Beirut Lebanon, Manchester - Liverpool London, Spain, Lisbon Faro Portugal, Malta, Jakarta Indonesia ) has been given nice upgrade surprises, or at least a double bed for single occupancy; HI Sofia unfortunately given the "left over" room for their IHG Rewards night guests: a twin interconnecting room. Worse, WiFi is not working, it connected with 3 bars near the door, but still unable to retrieve communication for whatsapp, then when you lay on your bed; it's down to 1bar and completely useless. I ended up have to use my own WiFi on roaming.
When I asked Maria the reception why I am not given at least a double standard bedroom (perhaps the hotel was fully booked); she was saying "unfortunately under IHG rewards night in this hotel we only given the separate beds". Her respons simply frustrate me. Really?!?! That's how you treated an IHG member, to instead of recognise them and REWARDS them, as the name suggests "Rewards Night"; you actually don't give a crap for a guest who does not give you cash money. Hmmm so much for hospitally industry where it says loyalty can bring the business more profits in the long run.
IF I CAN SUGGEST, DO NOT STAY IN IHG IN BULGARIA. Spend your money elsewhere where you really get rewarded. But do spend your points in other IHG hotels in the other parts of the world. I believe they will treat the IHG members much better than this one.response / report this review -

Nice modern hotel close to business park near cinema, supermarket and bus routes into the centre. Has an airport shuttle bus available at a price.

I can say only good things for this hotel. 1)Location - Great location for all people that are visiting Business Park Sofia. Hotel is inside the park and all buildings are there and you can go to your working place. The metro station is in walking distance and you can visit down town easy for no money. You don't need taxi, just pay around 1,25Euro. 2)Service - Big rooms, great staff, clean and quiet hotel! 3)Price - Well not expesive at all you can have good room for really cheap price. Recommended!
