The room and sheets were clean, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The stream room was out or order as well as the cleaning pump of the inside pool. The water was dirty. Some of the tiles were broken my daughter cut her skin. The food was only okaynot much of a viraiaty. The kids club closes at 8 pm i did not see an animator at all.

Great in the summer time too. Relaxing, helping staff, not crowded, 2 pools,a garden, playground with swings and a slide etc. Recommend it!

Great resort for families. About 10kms out of Bansko in a valley with stunning mountain views, close to the golf course at Pirin. Kids loved the playroom attendant, who spent hours doing arts and crafts with them. Friendly staff, nice amenities. If you've got kids, make sure to ask for a 2 bed apartment (instead of the 1 bed flats), otherwise the kids have to sleep on the sleeper couch in the lounge. Highly recommended.

Awful service, bad cheap food, spa is old snd not renovated at all! Pool is cold and dirty! Dont recommend!

It is not a bad place to visit with friends or family. The are a few minor details that can be improved, maybe Wifi for each block outside of the hotel and lobby. The pool was slightly cooler than specified. But the sauna and steam room were great though. The rooms are clean. The service is great. The restaurant buffet was tremendous and the waiters were very polite. The bathroom in the studio apartments is clean and nice. I would recommend it if anyone asks. Overall great experience. 4/5 stars because there are some details they can improve on.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 days for a ski holiday in January. Without being too harsh, if I had to rate the hotel out of 10 on an overall view I would rate it a 4/5. The shower in our apartment was leaking and there was water squirting everywhere. Our friends were staying in another apartment downstairs at the same time as us, and their shower was the same. During breakfast, the kitchen had no cups. so we had to have our tea in tiny cardboard cups, there's wasn't much variety in food. The workers stated that they had wifi and gave us the logins and passwords. The wifi would work in the middle of the night at about 3 am or very early in the morning at about 7am. During the day the wifi wouldn't work. I had to use wifi in the ski rental centre.. I'm sure if a ski rental centre can get good wifi, surely a hotel could also if they had any will to improve. The walls were dirty which wasn't too pleasant to look at. Also their cleaners provide new towels and cleaned our rooms every 3rd day, which was fine. However we were not provided with clean towels until our second last day of staying there. I enquired about the towels at reception 5 times about the towels, at one point the worker said to me 'stop distracting me from doing me work' I thought this was disgraceful. The hotel had to order more towels as they didn't have enough. Also the edges of the windows in our rooms were leaving in the cold, which meant we always had to keep the radiators on, and it was up to us to control the warmth in our apartment. We did not have enough forks and plates in our kitchen. I'm guessing since the hotel know there was four of us staying in an apartment, there should be four of everything. Some of these points would have been acceptable if they weren't rated by star rating. For a 'four star' hotel as they state, these points should not be an issue. Some good points about the hotel was that the beds were very comfy, felt lovely to sleep in, the look of the hotel was nice on the outside and they kept the place nice and clean. The swimming pool was lovely. That's about it really. Just don't be fooled into thinking that this hotel is going to be fabulous because it's a four star, trust me it won't be, I thought the same.

I was going to cancel my reservation because of all the bad reviews. This place is not bad at all. I was there in the end of August. Not too many people. If it is full it could be a problem. The pools are not very large - inside and outside are good. Food is great, too small restaurant though. There is no inner connection between buildings, so in the winter this could also be a problem. But don't let a few downsides discourage you. The staff was nothing but smiles.
If you could choose a room, get one out looking north with a terrace. Our didn't have an AC and was top floor east.response / report this review
