The infrastructure is dated. Food is low quality, overpriced Expect to queue 45 minutes in the cafeteria. The swimming pool is superb though.

Below average place second star is because of the Dolphin show, place is not well maintained and food at the restaurants inside is a big downside overpriced below quality food

Do not eat in there, the food is expensive and disgusting, spoke to the manager and he said that's the way they do it. We ate a bit of it and felt sick afterwards. This place I am certain will close soon as the quality of the shows and rides along with the food is very much of poor standard.

Really good place, plenty to do. I was really happy that my 6 year old could get on all rides after a weak at Disney land where he couldn't. The only thing that ruined this place was smoking. It is child centric so smoking should only be allowed in designated areas, but unfortunately we had to queue several times behind smokers.

    Pros
    - Human-sized theme park aimed at younger children and young teens.
    - Generally well maintained, clean and everything is bilingual (French and Dutch).
    - Great open-air water games, but ensure the weather is on your side if you plan to use it!
    - Pricing is OK if you stick to attractions and shows, snacks and goodies can be on the expensive side, as usual with theme parks to be fair.
    - Sea lions, Sea hounds and Dolphins, but (see cons)

    Cons
    - Animal well-being: the Dolphins don't seem to have much space, they are in a kind of swimming pool and are apparently always indoor.
    - Same goes for Sea hounds and Sea lions, although they are outdoor.
    - Price for extra's at animal shows are quite expensive (photos etc).
    - No real guarantees that the animals are actually "happy"
    - Park and venues are sometimes a bit dated.

The park would probably benefit to invest in its infrastructure and offerings and drop the animal acts, as they seem to be used more as attracting features rather than real conservation purposes as it is the case in zoos.

This is the second time that I have visited Boudewijn Seapark with my family and we had an amazing time. The kids realy enjoyed the whole experience, we will definitely be coming back!
