Lots of tigers and other cat like animals. Started small as a private zoo but nowdays it's a proper zoo. Entrance price around 19€. Small reduction and free parking if tickets are booked online.
Very expensive junk food in the cafeteria. Very expensive entrance fee with parking fee on top. Like the high-enough fee was not enough.
Otherwise, the animals are quite interesting, especially, bears, giraffes and elephants. Very nice and large play area for children with a goat pen.
A very nice place for all ages!
It's not a big zoo but it is packed with a lot of nice animals. You might say that some parts of the zoo are still a bit old or could use some updates. But the animals are very approachable and the environment is very good.
Overall a recommended spot to spend some time with your children. Also not that crowded compared to the bigger zoos in Belgium.
Nicely constructed pathways that bring you close to the animals. Cool, but I also worry if this is in the animals' best interest.
Not a huge zoo. Easy to do in a day. Kids loved it here. The animals were active and approachable. There are little benches all throughout the park with nice views. We only had a pack of fries but they where well made and the price wasn't crazy like in big zoos.
There are certainly areas of the zoo that are 'old school' and cause you to be a bit sad for the animals, but there are newer areas which are nicer. For a small zoo this has a lot to offer young kids and because of its location it is accessible to many people who live in in the region of Limburg and the Kempen.
Small zoo. Lot if construction going on. Nice selection of animald
