Great location, clean and good looking hotel. Great rooms but the food and breakfast was not up to standard. The warm breakfast was, actually, cold. Coffee was not ok. Service was very good, but poor service in the dining area. Would come back if the food improves.

It was love at first sight. A glass door opens up to two fireplaces and you can either access the hotel from the right side and head straight to the restaurant or the left side to reach the hotel's reception. Recommended on the Net, the Dominican has a restaurant lounge down on the ground floor.

Great hotel although the decor is a little dated and clearly hasn't changed much since I last visited 9 years ago. It's in a fabulous central location, convenient for the Grand Place and shopping.
Breakfast, if not included in your room rate, is fairly expensive. One of the staff assisting at Breakfast (an older gentleman with glasses) was quite surly and made a point of stating that the breakfast service ends at 11.00 sharp (no exceptions)!! This didn't make for the relaxing dining experience I had hoped for.
Everyone else I encountered at the hotel was wonderfully friendly and courteous, including those serving in the bar and the front of house team. A couple of minor criticisms cost the Dominican a star, so it's a 4 from me.

We had a lovely stay at Dominican but the beds moved apart & we got that sinking feeling in the middle of the night, bit of a passion killer!
Also the breakfast tray - obviously didn't want to be disturbed before 11am & the room was made up but sheets weren't changed which was a bit of a disappointment. Worse, the breakfast tray is still sitting in the corridor at least 15 hours later which is disgusting.

Beautifully designed Hotel and great location but staff weren't overly helpful or welcoming. Rooms are not huge but you would not expect that of a city centre hotel in a period building. Overall not bad.

Maximum stars for this hotel! 5 min walk from train station, convenient to Grand Place and all of central Brussels! The staff was incredibly nice, the room was beautiful and the common areas like the bar and lobby were outstanding. And, the hotel was immaculate throughout. I highly recommend.

This is a wonderful hotel very close to the Grand Place with plenty to see, do, and great places to eat at all around and within walking distance. The staff here was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a really nice hotel close to some tourist attractions. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. The hotel restaurant was nice and the food was good. They have a little courtyard where I was able to smoke my cigar and listen to the music that the DJ was playing on a Friday night. I will stay here again if I ever make it back to Brussels.

Good hotel, friendly staff but skip the restaurant.
It's my second time in this hotel now, and the restaurant is poor quality now. Last year it was superb.

Very stylish hotel, totally renovated, in an old monastery. Cool atmosphere and a very cool boxing training room, vintage style! Location is super central!

This is one of my favourite places in the world. It is a stunning venue. The service impeccable. They have lovely bar with nice music, life music on most Thursday. You can also sit in the courtyard which is divine as it is very tranquil, you forget that you are in the middle of the city.
