Great shop with a ton of history and fantastic service. I was able to rent a road (racing) bike from them during my 6 month stay in Ghent. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.
As a foreigner to Belgium, I have always found Plum to provide excellent service, especially if you come early in the morning before the crowds. Considering the fact that they are located in a large town with a wide variety of patrons, from locals to tourists, and have probably seen their fair share of nut-cases, they are very hospitable and accommodating. They are not cut-price, but they have admirably helped myself and a couple of friends out with last minute repairs for which we have been most grateful. They also have a long history as a bike shop, which can be evidenced by the photos on the walls and they have a pretty impressive bicycle museum in their small basement - which is well worth a quick visit on its own, but for courtesy's sake when visiting, it's probably best to make a purchase as well.
Wonderful shop. Helpful staff.
Aladdin's cave of bikes of all shapes, sizes and types.
Do visit their bike museum downstairs.
Opposite experience from previous review. Saddle stolen, very helpful and respectful helping me with a low cost solution. Large selection as well.
I have nothing positive to say about this shop.
They are very rude to customers, and treat them with zero respect--unless you are a big-money spender.
