S & R Rozebroeken is not only has a swimming pool. There is also a tennis court, basket ball field and more. The swimming pool tickets are divided into two classes: one for swimming lanes and one for playing in the water, which is not very large, but still enjoyable (whirlpools, sauna, massage, slides, ). The cost for a ticket depends on where you live, which is quite unfair as people with a home in Ghent pay less than inhabitants from a neighbouring city.
Swimming lanes is less enjoyable when others have swimming classes and this is quite frequent. There are more less busy swimming pools nearby, like Puyenbroeck. It is smaller and has less visitors.response / report this review -

Lots of spaces, showers could be be better, plenty of sports options. Parking is just about enough, a bit more would be better.

Some staff are actually racist. Last week a staff member called the police to children who did nothing. Just because they are not Belgian as he said . I could not bear watching the children cry. Of fear. Even the police blame the employee for this behavior. some staff at there they're really rude.

The place is clean and they let you choose between swimming lanes and/or including the tropical swimming pool. The are 4 lanes that are Olympic length, which is really nice. The tropical bath opening hours differ from the pool hours and are different during school weeks vs vacation days. Generally speaking the pool opens in the morning (8:30 or 9) and the tropical pool a bit later (10 or 13:30). The are a restaurant and bar the that I have not tried.
They have a good modern system for lockers and changing rooms exist as personal or family rooms.
Adults tropical bath (includes pool) is 9.50 Euro, children under 16 pay less.
Just the pool is 6 Euro, teens (under 25) and children pay less.response / report this review -

What is it? A subtropic swimming pool. Entrance fee 9 euro's.
Experience: the parking is big enough to get rid of your car pretty fast. Upon entering the building there was a bathroom available for free. The que to enter we't pretty fast. There were maps available of the indoor pool area. The pool has 2 slides and 2 wild water rapids, one is a little slower than the other but they are both quite enjoyable. There was a hot pool and an outdoor pool, a pool for actual swimming and a wave- and kids pool. Overall I had a great experience the stalls could be a little bit cleaner. Upon exiting the pool I wasn't happy to realize the hairdryers were 50 cents to use. I like to pack light and don't carry a huge towel, leaving the pool with wet hair is something I find quite frustrating.
Rating: I rated this pool 3 stars, I would have rated 4 stars if the dryers were free. overall a good experience I would recommend this pool.response / report this review
