The chef was incredibly rude, which would be okay if it was amazing food, but it was average. He put pepper sauce that we hadn't asked for on our steaks then charged 10€ for it. Go somewhere else.
This place features a comfortable dining room as well as some outdoor seating. A wood fire is burning in a corner of the room, on which the steaks are cooked. This adds to the atmosphere and adds a slight smokey scent to the whole restaurant - this was more than fine by me, but I can imagine some people being less keen. I had a very nice octopus carpaccio and a really quite superb Argentinian vacio steak, served rare. The specialty of the house is clearly the meats, and some colleagues who had tuna steak were less happy (they felt it was overcooked). The chef who took our orders and looked after the table has quite a personality - again part of the experience, although it could rub some people the wrong way. The low point was probably his suggesting a 2010 Bordeaux bottle for the table, but opening a 2011 - a very different year. When this was pointed out to him, he simply said he'd run out of the 2010. All in all, a memorable experience, with the steak clearly a highlight.
