A well spent weekend in the Bed & Breakfast of House of Pieter Porters, Kipdorpvest 44, 2000 Antwerp.
I already knew this guesthouse to be an oasis of beauty and good taste in the center of Antwerp, just a few yards away from the Meir, the main shopping area of the town. I was never able before to resist a visit when I happened to be in the neighborhood. This time, in April, I decided to stay a full weekend in one of the rooms of the Guesthouse, set up as a B&B which Pieter Porter offers to allow guests to get fully immersed in his ideas on the art of decoration for receiving inspiration and ideas for decorating their house. We surely got many of these besides some good practical advice, copious breakfasts and excellent service. We felt already fully at home and hated to leave on a clouded Monday morning after a weekend of endless dreaming how we would implement these marvelous ideas at our own place!response / report this review -
