Rijuk Waterfall (Rijuk Jhorna) is located at Ruma Upazila of Bandarban District. The water continuously falls onto the Sangu river from about 300 feet high hill, with beautiful sound throughout the year. You have to make a trip from Bandarban to Ruma by “Chander Gari”

Rijuk Waterfall (Rijuk Jhorna) is located at Ruma upazilla of Bandarban. The water is continuously falls into the river Sangu from about 300 feet high hill with beautiful sound throughout the year and this water is shiny like pearl particles in the space creating a unique beauty of nature. This lake is surrounded by many kinds of plant and underwood. You can go there any time but during the rainy season you will see the most attractive glance of this fall. This awesome place will make you the most naturalistic and very close to your heart.

If you rent a boat(not engine boat) from ruma bazar and go to rijuk, you can see the stunning beauty of nature. I feel like i am in back to the past of thousand years. The falls is in no mans land. That is another beauty. And i think it is the highest water falls in Bangladesh. Must see.

You can actually sit under the waterfall a it crashes down on you. the physical trauma can be intense but at the same time, very liberating. I felt very empowered as I battled against the water pummeling me on all sides and turning my skin red.

Takes about an hour to go there by boat. You are advised to take your own food and water and a trash bag. Please take a trash bag as the place is dirty from all the plastic crap people leave behind.

Loved the experience and would definitely sit in zen mode under the falls again!

Rijhuk Waterfall, also called ‘The Ri Sowong sowong'. Every Visitor Knows ‘The Ri Sowong sowong' as Rijhuk Waterfall.

Rijhuk Waterfall is a symbol of scenic natural beauty. The phrase ‘Ri Sowong Sowong' means expression of romantic sense of a man that may occur in mind from the sound of continued falling water from the waterfall.

Rijhuk Waterfall is in Ruma upazila. A lot of visitor come here everyear to find out some tranquilities from the melody of this natural ravishing creation. Rijhuk Waterfall's water is falling from about 60 feet high. Really This spot is very good spot for natural beauty.
