Life jacket is important for this boating which is not available there. Please use life jacket wheel boating. After all that was a great boating for me. And I think all the travelers who visited that ghat enjoyed.

busy place, but sill a very important place to go maheshkhali by boat.
it is different from fishing ghat and in rainy season it is full of mud & water.
people face suffering.

if you going there at night, plz be safe from hijackers.

Actual Katsura Ghat has been closed since 2012 after canal and pier road covered by mud. This map mark is positioned inappropriately. Now people have to use BIWTA jetty to go Moheshkhali island and Sonadia island. Please ignore the map mark. This place doesn’t exist here anymore,once a time this ‘ghat’(pier) was connected by badarmokam road.

Only way to go by Engine boat or Speedboat from Cox's Bazar to Moheshkhali island. Moheshkhali island is famous for its beauty and tranquility.It is the only hilly Island of Bangladesh.

This is the only way by boat to go to Moheshkhali from Cox's Bazar, and it takes about 15 minutes by speed boat.

There is another way to go to Moheshkhali, and that's by road: from Badarkhali-Moheshkhali.
