Nilgiri is almost 3000ft. up from the sea level.So, from Nilgiri, the natural view is very attractive. In one word, an awesome place to visit. But remember, u can't spend your leisure ( a full-day ) in the Nilgiri resort without permission from the higher authority of Bangladesh Administration Dept. So, first you need an approval from the authority.

Nilgiri resort is treat to watch. You can take or see the best at night & early morning.
The sky seems be larger from here. At night the electricity goes off. There will only be the silence, you & the beautiful nature.
At early morning the clouds seems to be infront & below you. As the day starts to begin. The huge clouds slows moves away.
& the process is eternal to see

It's a beautiful resort which is located at the highest pick of the surrounding hill range. It is very close to nature. The scenic beauty around is also very nice. Food option is very limited since supply is not easy here. Electricity goes off after 10 pm which is otherwise good for forgetting all modern gadgets and fall back to the nature.

Nilgiri hill resort is a nice place that surrounded by high hill. A tourist will be astonished by observing the scenic beauty of nilgiri. At last I wanna said that the infrastructure of this resort should improve more from present condition.It's a very awesome place of our country to stay with all necessary requirements to enjoy a tourThe resort view was awesome and if it's in the morning you are looking at, then you can embrace yourself with Clouds.

Nilgiri is one of the best resort places in Bangladesh. It is about 46 km south of Bandarban on the Bandarban-Chimbuk-Thanchi road. The best time for visit this place is early morning. In this time clouds are playing under with surrounded the mountain.When clouds are wave and sun is rising up on the clouds you feel like flew on the clouds. Beautiful Bangladesh
One of the best place for visiting/ traveling or passing quality time with mother nature. Ohh it's heavenly beautiful. Specially the morning and the evening. You just fall in love with the nature. The resort are maintained by the Bangladesh army of bandharban region. All the resort are extremely beautiful, provide great food. When you are talking about price of course such beautiful place comes with quite great price. And the security it just awesome.

This place is a great option to view natural beauty above the hill. You can touch clouds. Arrangements to stay at night is also possible. Good facilities. When I first visited there, there was only two cottages to stay. End of year 2017, during my visit I saw a lot of options to stay.

This is so nice place for holiyday recreation. It is the best for family trip. Here you can get all facilities as you need. As the place is so high hill so you need to use sunscreen cream to safe your screen. Drinking lot of water while travel.

Highly recommended " sairu hill resort " instead which is only 35 km from nilgiri hill. This place is not even okay to bring your family. I had a great respect for soldiers but not any more. High commands please teach them some manners.

Place is quite excellent. Accommodation here is quite good. Have to be here after passing a 44 kmn dangerous path. Hilly areas are mostly like this. You can see the cloud beneath you. Mountains are all over. So obviously a great place for photo shoots. A Heli pad is there. To get get away from busy life, I would suggest one to come here for an adventurous trip.

the only good thing about this place is it's location. its simply great but rest of the facilities are a nightmare. no wifi, no water heater, no AC, no backup power supply, no intercom to contact front desk, no bathroom toiletries!!! can't believe these people are still in business. they are simply taking advantage of its location and robbing people. the price of the cottage is unbelievable considering the facilities you get. wish I knew it before hand!!

Hard to get access unless you are family of military personnel. The place is very well kept and has decent amenities for a resort so up in the hill.

The best times of the day are sunrise and dusk and late night. The mornings and dusk are when enormous clouds sweep over the mountain and engulf the whole resort in a shroud of grey. It is amazing to watch in real time as it happens very fast.

The night is a perfect time to go star gazing. The air is crisp and clean and a million stars greet you as you lie down on the helipad and lose yourself in their light.

If it wasn't obvious enough already, I loved this place :P
