Attentive friendly service with interesting tasty pairings and combinations. We had the John Dory and Barricuda which were excellent. Wine by the glass pours could be more generous (which we have seen in Aruba is a trend at every restaurant we have been to--with short pours). Lemon cake for dessert with a nice sorbet on a bed of sliced roasted almonds.
We went to Screaming Eagle last August and it was the highlight of our trip. Food was great, service was great, we all loved it as did the kids. Coming back in April 2018, we again made reservations and this time were disappointed. While food was still good, service was very poor, not attentive at all and VERY SLOW - it took 1.5 hours before our kids got any food and mains arrived. It took our server (who always seemed to disappear somewhere) 20+ minuted to take our order. Appetizers came out 30 min later and main courses 40 min after that. Kids were going nuts and very hungry. The waitress was generally nowhere to be found, did not check in on us, did not bother to ask if we wanted kids food out with appetizers, etc. Thus, if you are not with kids and have 2+ hours for a meal, you will enjoy Screaming Eagle. Otherwise, go elsewhere.
While it’s a beautiful setting the food and service were not good. The menu was creative and full of potential but executed poorly. Highly disappointed. Were were there on a slow night too, not even 25% full, hate think what it would have been like with a busy kitchen.
Lounge beds are the best way to have dinner at screaming eagle. Fancy elegant exotic food in addition to generic streak/fisg and mash potatoes on menu. Love Hungarian duck appetizer.
One of the very best restaurants in Aruba with THE BEST service. A must for us every year.
Screaming Eagle caught me off guard in the best way possible. At a friend’s recommendation, my family and I visited on our first night in Aruba and we were floored by the décor, atmosphere, menu selection, food presentation, and service. Though we couldn’t score an outdoor table (make reservations), we enjoyed the ambiance of the tastefully decorated, Miami-inspired dining room.
The wine list was expansive in variety and price and the menu was astounding with exotic ingredients and inspired pairings. With food and drinks ordered, our table was served shots of a flavorful and refreshing Gazpacho. We opted for two Chilean Seabass entrées, a fish special entrée, ceviche, and octopus appetizer. The octopus appetizer was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. It was aesthetically pleasing and perfectly prepared. The fish entrees were also heavenly. I would definitely recommend SE to others visiting Aruba. Fair warning: Screaming Eagle is pricey and though we were dressed very casually, the clientele was generally more dressed-up.
Not impressed, very short selection. Food was on bland side and over priced. Don't see what the fuss is about this place, least liked place on this trip so far.
Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to lately. Food is creative, fresh and surprising in the best way possible. Also- get the dinner in bed for the experience!!
We came here expecting over priced food and a nice atmosphere, but were pleasantly surprised that the food was worth every penny. Very pretty place. Wait staff was nice. Would return. Great fish!
We came here for my wife's birthday. The lobster bisque and barracuda were fantastic. Will definitely come back next time we visit Aruba.
Update: i was contacted by the restaurant and they did invite us back for a new experience.
I do appreciate that. They did everything in their power to make it right. I know things happen, it's how you handle it in the end that matters! Thanks for handling it in the end.
Customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. No record of my reservation, no record of my prepayment of 2 bottles of champagne. 40 minutes waiting for them to find it, they never did until i showed them my emails. They ended up charging us again for the champgne, another 40 minutes for our bill to be corrected. A 10% discount did not cover the time and embarrassment that we endured!
Thank goodness for our server, or the whole night would have been wasted!

Barefoot was a much better choice, service, food and atmosphere!
Love the lounge bed!!! The barracuda was delicious .. and the wolf fish perfectly prepared.. wonderful dining experience .. this place is not to be missed when visiting Aruba.
Really good food and great service. Some aspects were a bit old, like the paint coming off the ceiling and the stains on the curtains, but it did not hinder my dining experience. The wait staff is very attentive. Finally a restaurant in Aruba that doesn't have a rushed dining experience to cater to the USA American dining culture with waiters asking if everything is ok every two minutes. Staff is very well trained in the service area. This already makes the dining experience 100x better. The drink menu is very extensive and really good. Please look at the menu before coming here. The couple next to us was just complaining really loudly about prices and only ordered dessert after ordering dominoes pizza on their phone. I had the dining in bed experience. I'm glad I tried it, it is interesting, but I would prefer eating at a table. All in all, I highly recommend eating here and would come here again.
Screaming Eagle is the best Restaurant in Aruba! Highly recommended! I'll rate this restaurant on a scale of 1 to 10.. a perfect 10!! Waiters on point. Staff and service exquisite! And last but not least, the food and wine pairings that are just mouthwatering!!!
Excellent food. Very good service. Extensive wine list. The prices are a little in my opinion. A little bit overpriced.
The food was fantastic and the service incredible. A special thank you to Arminda for adding the perfect dose of personality to our evening.
The food is phenomenal. There is thoughtfulness and skill in the preparation of the meal. We went to the Screaming Eagle on 2 nights. We had wild caught grouper, yellow fin tuna, swordfish and the pork shank. All were ideally prepared. The potato truffle soup was fantastic (we asked for the recipe); the lobster was was wonderful.
The deserts are were perfectly prepared.
So romantic!! Best restaurant to visit with your spouse or significant other! The food and overall experience was exquisite, truly a rare gem on Aruba. Unique in the sense that you can actually enjoy your meal in a bed! I highly recommend this place to celebrate an anniversary or milestone with your love 💘
Great service, great food. Definitely worth stopping on.
Great staff! Well priced for Aruba. Dined on patio and separate evening in one of the beds. Unique and fun experience.
If you're looking for a great meal, a quick drive away from your resort, look no further! Food was outstanding, staff was was extremely friendly. Will be back next time I'm in Aruba.
Had dinner and the service was absolutely top quality, the food was delicious and the dessert to die for, we highly recommend the apple tarte, out of this world.
Did dinner in Bed. The creme brûlée of Hungarian duck liver is one of the top 3 things I have ever had. Excellent service. They have actual screaming eagle wine and pappy van winkle on the menu. This place was awesome. Oh did I mention the crepes suzette. Heaven
I took my husband here for his birthday. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with a lobster bisque (no picture available, as we both devoured it before we could take one). For the mains: I ordered the grilled Argentine beef tenderloin and braised veal cheek and my husband ordered the New Zealand rack of lamb. We finished off our meals by sharing a slice of chocolate ganache pie with banana ice cream. We didn't realize they'd give my husband a birthday brownie too, so we had double dessert! Would definitely love to go back!
