Close to the beach and sea front. Very upmarket hotel with fantastic reception area. Quite large. Outdoor swimming pool with poolside refreshments to purchase. As a hotel resident, you get free WIFI. Concierge car parking available. Starbucks coffee shop nearby with large shopping mall.

Absolutely wonderful 5 star hotel, part of a mall with upscale shops and casino. Several good restaurants, it has a rooftop infinity pool and bar. Great attentive service and offers boat shuttle service to a private island with beach club, water sports, lots of sun lounges and a few cabanas , home to a resident flamingo family.

Nice property, family friendly, staff is very nice though not always exactly attentive and very loud during the day. Made for tough daytime naps for baby. Had to switch rooms because after paying for the upgraded ocean view, we were overlooking the staff congregation area.

Rooms are small, but nice location. Good access to walking paths, casinos and bars. Taxis right out the door.

Well it is Aruba so it's very beautifulbut cutting the grass outside our room at 6:30 am really. 17 dollars for a salad! 24 dollars for a small pizza!?!? It's overpriced to say the least. Promised in our reservation and at the front desk, after our 5 hour flight, that out room would be ready at 4. We just wanted to shower and change our clothes (which we did in the lobby public bathroom) after our second check at the desk (4:15 and then 4:30) Our room was ready. But not quite, no garbage can In the bathroom no garbage bag liners in the kitchen. Small room for a suite. Shower door doesn't slide open far enough for ease of passage. :( And not what I expected for the prices we paid. (price was more than other resorts we have stayed) this felt like a hotel more than a resort. Just a couple miles from the airport but luckily you can hear every jet that takes off all day and night! Wooo hoo

A very nice place to stay at with a large pool and a man made beach. But do not forget the free access to the hotel private island and amazing beaches.

Great room. Shower was a bit leaky though which left the bathroom floor soaking every time. Otherwise happy with service, location and quality

This place is gorgeous, the rooms, pool, and nearby shopping are very nice. The inner "lagoon" area is meh, but the private island is perfect! The only possible downside is that you need to take a ferry boat to the private island, but some (like my kids) see that as an exciting feature!

Been staying here probably 8 years now every time we visit Aruba. It's wonderful except this year they allowed people from the cruise ships to use the private beach. It didn't go well.

We had a great experience at the Renaissance Ocean Suites. This is a Marriott property and members with status get a lot of perks. The property pool and beach are limited, but staying here gives you free access to the Renaissance private island which will not disappoint! This resort is downtown and much less crowded than the high-rise hotels. This creates a much more relaxing atmosphere not having to fight for lounge chairs and palapas. If you want the buzz and nightlife, just pop on the bus for $2.60 and head down to the high-rise area.

I love Aruba, the Ocean Renaissance Is a beautiful place, with its peaceful island with great service and New remodel rooms away from all the tourists traps. Great local restaurants from all Caribean including Holland. For the last 15 years I continue to come to Aruba a great place to relax.

Nice getaway with beautiful views and access to private island beaches. Friendly and helpful staff. Music at pool is too loud. Many modern amenities only available by walk or golf cart ride to the Marina hotel, including fitness and business centers.

Beautiful views, loved the private island. Good snorkeling in area. Room had a sink that wouldn't drain, only 2 towel hooks (for bath towels, beach towels, swimsuits and hand towels) which is super inconvenient. Really good food and a fun bar staff at the pool.

The grounds are beautiful!! Loved the private island but the rooms left MUCH to be desired as did the staff.
Room was dingy, and falling apart. The ledge n the shower for shaving actually fell off. Ceiling tiles would go up and down whenever you opened the door. Dirty dental floss pic was on the floor from day 1 and it was never removed, hair in the shower.
Bar staff was slow and acted as if you were putting them out when ordering food or drinks.
I am silver elite with Marriott and this was the absolute worst room I've ever stayed in.

A good hotel. The rooms aren't fantastic but you won't spend much time in them. The couch feels like it is made from plastic and they have polyester sheets which isn't great in the tropics.

All this fades away when you get to their private island which is amazing.

Great resort with wonderful restaurants, casinos, and marina. It has it's own private island. Covieniently located near shopping mall and airport. Easy access to public transportation. No need for car rental.

Could not have been more impressed with this resort. The staff are the best! Friendly, outgoing, sincere. The grounds are stunning and the rooms are beautiful. The island offers s unique escape, and the location of the resort could not be better.
