Do not go to this place. Food is ok but service horrible. We ordered our food and their appetizers are mainly in the $8-$13 price range. The waiter mentioned the specials, and there was a burrata appetizer which consisted of mozzarella, slices of prosciutto, a little bit or arugula, 4 thin slices for cherry tomatoes and 2 tablespoons of peppers. He said it was $13.50. We order our meals, then get the bill and the appetizer is on the bill for $38 even. I question the waiter and he says that it is $38.50. I said to him that’s not what you said and an appetizer that’s more than 95% of you main entree’s. I paid the bill. On my way out I asked for a manager in the front. I believe his name was Ingrid and told him my story. He said I know this waiter and he is honest. I said to him then I am the one that has to suffer the consequences. He said what would you like. I want the $25 difference, I said to him. He goes out back and comes back 10 minutes later and says the order was closed so I cannot do that. I can give you $11.25 back. Really!!!!! Awful management and bad service. Our appetizer took 40 minutes to arrive. The waiter on 2 occasions came by and said you still haven’t received your appetizer. There are much better restaurants in Aruba.

Hoe difficult can it be to make a 4 cheeses pasta or to put 2 mozzarella balls and some tomato on a plate?
Probably not to difficult, but in all honestly I know nothing of making a dinner.
I can tell you that the chef here probably studied for this, cause the food is excellent!

Will come again and will skip the other Italian restaurants from now on.

Note if you travel with a baby: they have a good highchair and a good baby changing station.

Had a very nice dinner outside. The indoor dining room was beautiful but we sat outside to enjoy the warm breeze. They move a LOT of people through here but the food and service were excellent. My son and i had the spaghetti prepared tableside in the parmesean rind and it was fantastic. Bean and pasta soup was very good as well. My wife said the roasted egg plant was excellent. Would definitely go back again. Get a reservation because it does get crowded.

Perhaps we went on an off day but the food was no where near as good as i have heard. i preferred to eat on our hotel than to come back here. but the environment and staff were nice.

Awesome restaurant for being out of the country. The presentation of the spaghetti for two was amazing and delicious. I highly recommend it. One thing though, sit inside and enjoy the air conditioning. The restaurant is off the water and the humidity is very unenjoyable.

Enjoyed dinner tonite. Service was exceptionaldinner lobster ravioli was the best. Only negative is my son ordered veal parmigiana which did not come with pasta. We had to order a side dish which added $9 to cost of meal.

Easily in the top 2 best Italian I've ever had and in the states, it's not hard to find good Italian food. This place is fantastic. Service was amazing. Beautiful atmosphere and the food was awesome!

The grouper filet I was offered was of generous portion, but not fresh at all. As someone who has tasted some 30 Michelin stars I can tell that the fish in on the edge of getting rotten. It is a famous establishment so such occurrence is much more obscure. I highly recommend not to eat here.2 star rating for nice staff.

Food is excellent at Gianni's. Their special pasta is awesome, a chopped lobster tail with 3 jumbo shrimp served in vodka style sauce that just keeps you wanting more. Their signature drinks are also quite good and large!

This is a must visit restaurant. They have a huge live lobster tank and the entire restaurant is gigantic. You can dine indoors or alfresco. The waitstaff is top notch and highly trained. They know when you need help, but also know when you were in the middle of a conversation and don't need to be interrupted. And if you're lucky, Jose Reyes will be your waiter!

Long wait because it's a popular restaurant in the area and the food is delicious. You have to try to sit outside of you can because inside will be hot and would make your meal a little uncomfortable. The cheese bowl for too is really and good and the mojito is good. If you're in Aruba got to stop by Gianni's.

People said it's the best Italian on the island. Not sure about that since I haven't tried other Italian restaurants, but the food was pretty good. I was baffled by the price of the shrimp, lobster, and linguine special being $49probably the most expensive pasta dish I've ever had. If I go back is definitely try a different dish.

Good italian restaurant great environment and also nice setup that been said my linguine with clams wasn't all the great 3 clams were not open chef should have seen that before sending the dish to the table.
Burrata was ok but the prosciutto was very dry, looks like the dish was already prepared and not freshly made.
I will give them a second chance just because my wife liked the outdoor setup

Average food for an above average price. I don't get all the great reviews. The appetizers where good, but again very small portions. Really, Eggplant Parmesan, such a small portion for such an inexpensive vegetable, barely enough for one person. The artichoke was the only reasonably priced and very tasty appetizer. Waitress trying to push the most expensive nonsense. 4 people - 3 appetizers and 4 meals + tap water = $170+$30 tip. Ouch! Left hungry and one son said the cheese on the veal parm. tasted fake. I guess it's a rich skinny people spot lol. When Gianni's was in Oranjestad it was a better value. I don't minding paying top dollar but it better blow me away and it didn't.

I'd actually give this place 4.5 stars if that were possible. The one problem I had with Gianni's was just the prices of their pasta dishes. Other than that I really enjoyed the food and the wait staff was very kind and attentive. It's a large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped in for lunch at a slow time but it always seems pretty busy at peak dining times. It's in a good location and the restaurant itself is nicely maintained. They also sell the biggest live lobsters I've ever seen in my life! My husband, my 9 year old son and I were all fascinated with the live lobster tanks!

One of my favorite restaurants on Aruba, I've visited all 3 times I've been to the island and have never been disappointed. Authentic Italian cuisine and setting. I highly recommend the "parmesan cheese wheel" pasta dish!

Absolutely magnificent!!! My favorite restaurant in Aruba! Be sure to make a reservation (even during the week), as despite having many tables, this place fills up quickly.

The menu has an extensive variety of Italian specialties that are truly mouth-watering! My favorite dish is the Osso Buco. It was the very best I have ever had.

The staff is very good and helpful and the decor is quite pleasing. As with most higher-end restaurants in Aruba, Gianni's is not cheapbut considering how delicious the food is, it is worth every penny! I highly recommend it!!!

It is an overrated, pretentious restaurant with over priced yet mediocre food. We ordered the calamari and it was one of the worst we had, the batter was thin with no texture or crispy bite, the calamari was rubbery and tasteless. I ordered the octopus dish marinated in Oliver oil and lemon, but it lacks favorI could hardly taste the lemon and the octopus was not so fresh. My daughter ordered a Gnocchi dish. It was plain with creamy sauce only but cost over $25. We paid over $100 feeling very unsatisfied and unhappy. We shall never visit this restaurant again!

The service was okay but we ordered our fish blackened. THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE! The chef's understanding of blackened was just to cover the entire fish with black pepper. It was horrible. It was late and we were tired so we just scraped it off and tried to enjoy the fish that was underneath. It didn't help that the meal was not cheap too Over $100 for two. Of course we did not return there for the rest of our stay!

A massive Italian restaurant in the heart of Aruba's shopping district/area. The restaurant is bigger than 90% of the restaurants you'll ever visit (including large establishments such as he Cheesecake Factory etc) and yet it has the charm of a smaller family run business. Definitely a bit more upscale when compared to restaurants like Sole Mare and the service is no exception.

Amazing traditional Italian dishes and a huge wine list. (Though overpriced) Would absolutely go again.

Been going here for years. This year noticed the food and service had seriously declined. The steak came out 4-5 mins after we ordered it. It was cold and obviously pre made. Service for drinks was slow and waiter was dripping with sweat. Was a bit gross to be honest. We Used a gift certificate. It was for 150 dollars. The bill was 132. They would not give us the balance back on gift certificate or count it towards the tip. Pretty much just stole the balance from us. We spoke to the manager and he could not have cared less. Too bad for a few bucks they lost an entire family of repeat customers.

A bit on the pricey side as Italian food goes but worth it. Gianni's offers good service, an extensive menu and a pleasant environment whether you're inside or out on the giant patio. The dessert menu is a must-try as everything is prepared on site.
