Best fish I’ve ever eaten, hands down. Had the blackened barracuda with shrimp and scallops. Definitely ask your hotel about making a reservation, as this made the process simple for us! Only thing that I didn’t love (no fault of the restaurant) was the family beside us allowing their child to throw ice cubes and napkins and scream like a banshee the whole time.
Most definitely a place to visit on your first night. Wacky wahoos brings the best food and hospitality I’ve had in Aruba so far. The bartender Harold is amazing and so is the owner. Very good food served by very beautiful people! Reservations are required or maybe you’ll be turned away, but don’t fret if you can settle to eat at the small bar you’ll have more one on one with your server/bartender. Thankful we got some seats at the bar and came at the right time.
After searching for amazing I found it great food awesome people the only thing that would have been better would be more food or a view of the ocean. If you don't stop here wellit's your own fault.
Great food, very flavorful. We had red snapper filet, lobster with seasoned rice fresh vegetables and shrimp Alfredo. Our server was great. Please make a reservation to eliminate a long wait. Will definitely return before leaving the island.
Fabulous fresh fish beautifully presented. We showed up early (before 6) and they were completely booked (for the entire week!) but were able to seat us at the bar.
Went last night and it was super. Had to set outside but were well cared for. The lobster was perfect. The Dragon Shrimp was superior. I can see why it is so very difficult to get a reservation. Ca not wait to return. Absolutely Outstanding.
Had a fantastic Wahoo fillet with garlic shrimp and scallops as a special last night and it was to die for. they made room for us even though we did not have reservations, although we did have to sit outside which was perfectly fine. Great service friendly people good atmosphere and delicious fish
One of the top dining esperienze in Aruba. You could tell that they used the freshest ingredients, and the chef did a great job preparing them in some very good dishes. The only draw back was the fact that we couldn't get a reservation for the longest time, and when we finally got one, on the night before we left Aruba, it was for a late 9PM. Rosanna, the hostess, recommend to make my reservation for next year now, one year in advance and I will.
Hands down one of the best places to eat fresh seafood on the island. It is hard to get a reservation here as they only answer the phones at a certain time of the day, and you cannot get a reservation the day of, but if you get one, definitely go! Prices are outrageously low for the quality and quantity of food. If you are two females, definitely share one plate. It is more than enough food. The wine selection is also very large. The owner is actually German from Bavaria so there are a ton of FC Bayern fan gear all over the restaurant. Don’t expect to get new utensils after each course as the restaurant is more casual, with tourists and locals dressed in shorts and Hawaiian shirts. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Aruba!
You need to make a reservation at least a week in advance. (Not joking) the food is absolutely amazing! Great quality food in nice hefty portions, their seafood is seasoned to perfection and their desserts are delicious! A total place to check out that is walking distance from the Hilton and some other high rises (15 min walk).
Incredible food and great service. Reservations are a must unless you want to risk getting a seat at the bar (like we did). Went here on recommendation from friends we made at the beach, and it did not disappoint. It's a must do when in Aruba. Enjoy!
The grilled tuna was excellent however .. .. the grouper special was average vegetables are frozen not fresh service was good .. adequate parking if you get there early.
Quite possibly the best piece of fish I've ever eaten in my life. I had pan fried Barracuda and it was perfection. My husband had Mahi Mahi with scallops and shrimp, all of which he said were perfect.
Reservations are only available to be made from 3-5pm and are highly recommended.
Definitely go eat here if you love fish!!!
The food is awesome. Ask for the seafood soup. You won't be disappointed.
We love this place. Been there twice already. Fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. Bouillabaisse is magnificent, we liked it more than just fish soup. Grouper was also great. The only thing we did not like, was the fact that both days all dishes tasted differently. I personally liked it better the first day. But nevertheless, it's a great restaurant.
Food 8 out of 10. I had catch of the day with fried shrimp. Good food. Sangria pitcher overpriced. Not my favorite ambiance.
Somehow the reservation got messed up and they bent over backwards to get us seated-kudos to all for the best fish ever, great service and a fun time. Go there every time we're in Aruba and are never disappointed.
Absolutely amazing seafood! Ceviche is incredible. Menu and fresh fish options are almost too much as it will be tough to choose. Portion sizes are generous. Getting a table can be a challenge of course (we ate at the bar), once a restaurant gets known for such amazing food this is always the consequence. We ate plenty of seafood on Aruba but nothing better then here!
Started with ceviche the was so perfectly done and came in a surprisingly large portion. I ordered the Baracuda grilled. It came with fresh vegetables and a saffron rice. It was grilled with just the right seasoning.
This place was a little on the pricey side but it was worth it. One of the best and most colorful meals we had in Aruba. It seems like a reservation might be needed but we didn't have one. Luckily we were seated after not even 5 minutes. The Sangria was good too and it looks like they have a nice wine selection.
Fantastic seafood dishes cooked to perfection. It is a very small place so it is strongly recommended to make a reservation. The small size gives it a very homely feeling. Great service as well. We had the catch of the day, barracuda and red snapper.
One word; Incredible. Being here for a week we tried the staples and some of these restaurants were found wanting. Not so at this establishment. The Aruba Fish Stew is a must. Kudos to the owners and the stafff for providing a unique and rewarding experience. Many thanks for a great dinner!
Based on the name, I wasn't sure what to expect. What we got was fantastic seafood and good service. I would highly recommend this place. The crab cake is like no other crab cake I've ever had. It has a smoked flavor to it and was outstanding.
