In the middle of winter the forest is still majestic, displaying beautiful shades of green.and if you lucky, snowflakes are gently falling around you making it a more enchanting experience

Great place for a day out with the family in late spring through to early winter. Picnic under the Oak tree next to the red wood forrest. Go up the road a bit further for the Big Peninsula Tunnel for a summer dip in the icy waters of the Yarra River.

Beautiful area..Smelling the trees, ferns and the experience of fresh air is awsome ..and the view of the mountans are just the top of the cake.The best about the whole area is not far from Melbourne.It is even great for a day/ weekend trip.
