I went to check out the exhibition of tea cosies the is run to raise funds for cancer research. There were some very clever designs. Nice view.

Food was awful. Overcooked 4 day old tough quiche. Couldn't even cut it let alone eat it. My friends proached eggs were solid rocks. We were the only table so wasn't because they were rushed.
Black tea that tastes of lavender when specifically asked for English breakfast is not on. Serving stale food is not on either. When asked "how was it" and told not good, we were advised we should have booked for lunch "its better!"
Won't be back. The tea cosy comp next door saved the day.

It's not a fast paced cafeit's a lovely place to sit back and enjoy the view. I was surprised to see that the also have their own bee hives so as well as tasting all the lavender desserts, we also sampled the lavender honey ice creamYUM. So nice to have real flowers on a tablemy granddaughter loved the fragrant roses :)

We weren't that impressed with the "farm". Though, don't think you can really call it a "farm", as it was more like a "back yard"!! And, it was more a number of rows of lavender beds that were somewhat sparsely populated.

Wouldn't really recommend making the trip if you are planning on just visiting this place. Rater, if you are in the area or going that way, then have a look. Keep in mind that you'd still have to pay an entrance fee. Think it was $10/vehicle.

Farm is pretty small but worth seeing if you're not too far away.
Shop is small and too expensive and not so authentic.
Cafe. Well, awfully expensive, service is too sllow and bad, staff are just a bunch of kids. Not special at all.

The lavender field is a sway of gentle purple, but the real highlight here is the gorgeous garden. Whoever is in charge of roses deserves an award: they're divine.

Lovely cafe, staff are polite and friendly. Absolutely delicious condiments! Beautiful location, so relaxing to sit outside in the sun with a pot of tea and some scones, cream and jam. Fantastic experience! We love this little place, and go every year on our way back from the tulip festival. Highly recommended by us!
