Good value, service and caring for our dog.
David has been the vet to our pets for 30 years. Caring, reliable, highly competent veterinary service with boarding and home feeding services as well.
When vets were doing big discounts for cats and dogs i tried rining vets to if if by any chance they would do a discount on 1 male ferret.
After 5 declines from other vets i decided to try one more.
The lady on the phone said 'i will just ask my boss for you'
And i was told YES, they will apply the discount for my ferret.
The customer service was wonderful and the desexing went smoothly, i was very pleased thank you!
I booked an appointment on the phone, but was still treated as a walk in and had to give details all over again on the day. Morning staff were very poorly presented. David Croft is the worst vet I have visited. He behaved as if he had better things to do, and in the consult talked over us (we probably got 1-2 sentences in the entire time), didn't warn or ask us about pilling, or forcing (my cats have have had their temperature measured rectally before, but never in this manner) a thermometer into my kitten. Also talked down our choice of wormer, which was strangely displayed very clearly on the shelf. Despite us already paying for the consult, he wanted to charge an additional prescription fee for writing a script, saying it'd "take up his time". This conveniently would’ve costed as much as the medication. His attitude was, for the lack of a better word, disgusting. While we don't expect animals to be treated like a fragile flower, we certainly did not like seeing ours handled unnecessarily like a piece of meat. Given how poor the experience was all around, we decided to take our cat back to our normal vet. If I could give 0 stars I would. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere.
I happened to have googled vets in the area since moving to Ermington from Surry hills.
To our surprise they were amazing.
Considering the condition of my dog mentally and physically veiny broken from going to intensive rehab, dr Clair was fantastic and her vet nurse.. they check up on Max and myself and have provided fantastic adv. highly recommended
Staff are awesome prices would have to be the best out there recommend to everyone
Since moving to Sydney, we are so grateful to our neighbour who referred us to West Ryde Vet because these guys are amazing. The reviews say it all. They are all incredibly professional and friendly and reasonably priced. They have seen our Pugalier numerous times for Anal gland issues amongst other things, and we recently decided to get surgery to get them removed. David Croft is a Excellent and skilled vet who has done an amazing job with our Albert who is recovering really well. ** just an update on our dog he has never been better - no more issues with Anal glands at all everything in that 'area' has improved dramatically he is more calm now & lost all anxiety. Makes for an easier life for all! 👍😀😀
Priced well and the staff are so good with the animals
Vets and nurses are friendly and helpful providing constructive advice. Staff have a love of animals and care for their welfare

The vet services are superb, especially David Croft who is highly skilled and experienced has gone beyond and above his duties to check on my cat at home as it has a surgery to remove its anal gland. The whole team of vets are very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
The vet service and puppy class are excellent! They know what they are talking about. We had our puppy class with Linda and she explained every single detail about how to take care of our puppy and train him appropriately. In other occasion, we brought our puppy to West Ryde Vet Clinic for second opinion regarding gastrotomy as our emergency vet hospital near my area recommended to do so. David, the owner of West Ryde Vet Clinic, took care of my puppy for few days and in the end he reassured me not to go with surgery as it was unnecessary. All in all, we recommend West Ryde Vet Clinic to dog owners. Their services are very good.
