A great little kiosk, underneath facing the bay. Undercover, tables and chairs. Lots of passion, coffee and good food

I had the pleasure of dining here with my family today. Excellent meals. Fast, efficient & friendly staff .great service!! I would like to thank our waitress Linda for her excellent customer service. Will definitely return to your fine establishment when I visit Melbourne again.

Very nice; mains sizeable, service excellent- loose stars for unimaginative and standard-pub style dessert options. Come on, Waves, give us some delicate flavours and better presentation! Everything else is world-class.

    Great lunch experience!
Great food! Also quite a few vegan options available.. Incredible view on the water. Even on a cloudy and cold day 😊

Calamari is soft and not chewy which I love, fish and chips is beautiful and doesn't smell fishy at all, garlic bread is big and could serve two to three people as appetiser, nachos has abit of spice to it but lovely fresh and authentic. Love the portion size of this place it is very generous, wish I came here sooner the cooks are amazing you definitely feel the love and passion in their dishes served! Would definitely return!

The service was poor. Despite being the 1st table to arrive for the lunch service we had to either go up to the bar ourselves or eave down staff to put an order in. We wenr there to have a nice lunch with wine but was never able to get our drink order in. Even though this place has a kids menu/high chair they seemed unimpressed by having 2 small babies on our table. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant if are looking for attentive friendly service or an infant/child friendly option.

The waitress was lovely however we waited an hour and forty five minutes for our lunch. Sadly it wasn't worth the wait. They paid for our two glasses of wine however we won't be back as the food was just okay, certainly not worth waiting that long for.

For reference I had the lunch chicken souvlaki and my husband had the chicken & mushroom risotto. Everyone around us ate, except us :(.

Fantastic view and friendly staff. It was very busy when we came and didn't have a booking. We waited 45 minutes and it was worth it. Good vegan options, the prices are reasonable and the food was fantastic. The wait staff were very attentive even though they looked very young. They must be well trained! Overall a very positive experience.

    I was very disappointed.
I ordered the seafood chowder to my surprise there were 3 mussels, 2 little prawn, 2 scollops and a bit of fish in juice..
$27.. what a joke. Stuff were friendly and quick service tho but not a place I'd recommend.

Really enjoyed the food. Great wait staff - approachable and helpful. Atmosphere pretty decent and right on the beach without getting sand in your food. Sat outside on the deck. Updated went with a big group. Food was outstanding again.

I have to say the views, atmosphere are nice the service and the staff were really kind and helpful but the food?? mmm nothing special a bit more to the bad side. Bruschetta was really lacking flavour and freshness, for mains we order the salmon and paella; the nice piece of salmon was completely overdone and dry paella wasn't that bad on the flavour side but still I was very disappointed with the dishes I tried. Beautiful skills with latte art but not impressed with the taste of the coffee either. Staff is the only plus of the place. Really average.

The view is pleasant and relaxing. My partner and I went there 30/12/16 for dinner. It was very busy, I guess that's why the service was a little average. When we were seated there was a large fly on our table. My partner later found a small bug in her drink. Some of the food was very good. I had the rib eye steak with garlic butter sauce. The steak itself was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The sauce just tasted like butter unfortunately. My partner had the seafood pasta. The seafood was great, very fresh and tasty. The pasta was average.

If you do go there, try the garlic bread. You will not be disappointed.
