Came very late to have some desert and coffee. Even though packing up discretely, the staff was still very accommodating and gave us friendly and professional service. Thnx😊

Fairly standard hotel grub. Unseasoned vegetables. Uninspiring Parma. Pizza bland. Potato soup starchy and lumpy. Bread rolls from supermarket. The usual kids menu.

Popped in for a quick dinner. The service was excellent and fast. Very friendly staff. Food was good with a good portion of vegetables still crunchy and not horribly soggy. We would go there again.

Ordered and waited over 35mins to discover that the order hadn't gone through to the kitchen.
So why 5 stars. Because they owned their mistake abd worked hard to put it all right and the food was great. An amazing steak with peppercorn sauce for me and pumpkin soup and a side of grilled green beans for her.response / report this review -

Friendly staff good location. Bar prices reasonable. But disappointed in my roast pork meal. Cold plate made food cold and the only roasted thing was the pork. Extra crackle was the only thing that stopped me from sending it back. And seeing them turn people away at 8pm on a wed night in school holidays when it says 9pm had us shaking our heads. Won't go back for rest of our stay in the bay.

Travelling the Great Ocean Road decide to stay over in Apollo Bay. With the NRL Final on television i was hoping to get tea and return to motel to watch it. Placed order at 7.10pm received meal at 8.16pm. Ordered steak med -well. Steak turned up red as. I accept these delays happen but at least staff could have corresponded with us. Nope, nothing. Plus the meat wasn't even done correct. There were others in the same boat. One couple asked the question and received a free round of drinks. Like i said , a little dissapointed.

A nice enough pub. We only went to the bistro side, but the main bar looked warm and inviting. The food was nice enough nothing to rock your socks off, but far from terrible. The kids meals came with veggies which is admirable.
Compared to the 'Brew House' down the road, the tap beer selection is about as mainstream (i.e. boring) as you can get. But my guess is, this suits the main demographic of locals. Or at least, enough locals to differentiate themselves from what the other joints aims for.
It's clean, it's nice, the toilets are nice (though a change table would be good unless they prefer parents of babies/toddlers not eat there), the decor is pleasant. I'd eat there again next time.response / report this review -

Had dinner here with the mrs. We tossed up between this place and the pub down the road. We chose poorly. Decided to get the prawns as a starter. Sounded well enough with some salad and a honey almond dipping sauce. It looked like someone just grabbed a handfull of unpeeled prawns, plonked them on a bed of rocket and served with a side of honey with a few almond flakes in it. All this for 22 bucks. We felt quite foolish for getting it. Also the salad tasted like the prawn shells. Otherwise the chicken parmigian was below average and the pumpkin soup was ok. Give this place a try but please do not order the prawn starter, absolute joke of a dish.

Lovely venue. Staff are very friendly too. Not a massive beer selection, mostly the big beer companies on tap which wouldn't normally be a problem but they charge more for a schooner than the pub that serves craft beer 100m up the road.

We were met by a friendly young lady to be seated. Not a huge menu but enough to choose from. Both our meals were excellant and well priced. The bar staff were super friendly. Definately recommend this place.

New girl on the door was great(kept calm and friendly) despite being left alone on first shift during a busy weekend. Food was perfect despite large crowdGood work kitchen maintaining food quality during busy period(seafood festival weekend)

One of the worst pizzas we ever had on our lives. The dough was dry and cracker like, there were approximately 3 pieces of salami on which was supposed to be a pepperoni pizza. The salami itself was pretty bad as well. Not to mention the terrible service. We waited for the 1 pizza for 45 minutes. When I asked what's taking so long the waitress pretty rudely told me that there is a wait for pizza for 30 minutes at least. She could have mentioned that when we were ordering it. Not worth visiting for lunch/dinner, choose some other place around if you don't want to be disappointed. I would give 0 stars if possible
