Appalling lack of manners ! Bad service attitude from this elderly lady with grey hair (plaited into a ponytail ) at the cheese counter ! She dished out a plate of cheese for sampling which I took a piece as she explained more . Very abruptly and rudely, she asked me if I was with a group which had just gathered before the counter . I said no and apologized (clear and audible that a gentleman from the group said they were fine with that ) . But to my horror, that service staff looked annoyed and continued to ignore my family and each time she presented a fresh plate of cheese for sampling , she deliberately pushed the plate furthest from us ; implying we should touch them. However I must say, the other cheese staff, a young lady, was nice . Though she was busy serving , she looked up to ask us if she could help .
It is interesting that despite several poor service complaints were made about this same old lady (even as far as a year ago) she is still working there ! If I had read those reviews before my visit, I would have avoided her like the plague .

This is a fantastic destination in the Yarra Valley, they produce some beautiful cheeses I particularly like the White Savourine. Providore, cafe and even wine tasting in the weekendswell worth a visit if you are in the area or make a special trip here. It can get fairly busy so best to avoid the busiest times. Yarra valley has many great places you can visit like this, make it a part of your trip to Melbourne if you are visiting.

Lovely place. However 1 staff member was very condescending. I am starting out making cheese at home, which I am very proud of, this lady spoke down "at" me. I have been to other cheese making venues to do research and they have been lovely and full of advice. This lady needs training in customer and this is from a customer service manager of a national company with over 300 sites. Very poor 😕

Great cheeses and charcuterie. Finally got the potholes on the road fixed too. The Hot Cow cheese is particularly fine.

Yum! We love to come here and stock up on delicious cheese, they offer tastings so you know what you are buying and also small set platters to share

Expected more than just cheese, thought there would be ice cream, milkshakes and every thats dairy made. Only goats and cows gourmet cheese, small antipasto section, pantry produce, wine and soda from Hepburn? Not quite local! It's good just to go once to check it out, otherwise nothing special.

We've had many nice visits here. Cheese tastings are quite generous (remember it's precious stuff you are being offered) so we are happy to "pay" by making sure we make a purchase. The cheese platters are just excellent, and even if you are just there for coffee, the views are wonderful. You have a better than average chance of seeing a blue wren or other pretty bird as you eat.

Very nice, but t worth booking as it is small and quite busy. As the name suggests foodwise there are only dairy products, so cheeses, etc, not main course items

Great cheese platter, coffee good too. They also do cheese tastings. Good variety of cheese, crackers and chutneys available for purchase.

We got there early, staff were friendly and service was fine. You MUST try the cheese platter! A little expensive but once your finished you forgive the prices.
