Great food great servive. Has a kids playground with a big screan with a camera to keep an eye on them. Kids meals always come out a few mins before mains so adaulds can enjoy there meal. Prompt service and value for money. Good place for any family. Highly recommend.

It's okay. Fairly priced. Not sensational meals, but portion size is generous. It's kid friendly, so it can get busy and LOUD. Swan Draught on tap, so that's a major win. It's more of a 3-1/2 star to be fair, but Google doesn't give 1/2 star options.

After using flyer have been twice more. Every time we had pensioners meal deals (see pic) and can't fault them for price or quality (try the 200gms steak, tender as and well cooked). The staff very friendly and helpful. Quick service. Other people with us had meals from main menu and were extremely impressed also. Added attraction is children's play area very clean and monitored, viewable on big screen.

Quality of food was excellent and quick to table. Staff very friendly and efficient. Had the best steak I have ever eaten and the salad was so fresh and tasty. Price was extremely affordable and plate size was plenty for a lunch time meal. Definitely my new go to restaurant for ant occasion.

It wasn't too bad at first. The food was good and the portions were generous. The kids area is psychoville-my kids didn't like it at all. At the end of our meal i was drinking a coffee and my friend had a bug walk across her hand-it was a baby cockroach. My other friend remarked that she had one walk across her plate towards the end of her finishing her meal which instantly put her off the rest of her food. We wont be back.

Been here more than a dozen times over a couple of years. Good variety of menu items. Food priced medium, but quality is a gamble. I have had excellent steaks, and also ones that leave a lot to be desired. Service is generally good, but when busy can be very slow.

Great food, kids play area, rustic style hails back to an older era, small range of beers on tap

I honestly can't rate this place any higher. They helped me make my ideas of a surprise birthday become real. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help ensure the night was a success. The layout of the room is fantastic and very affordable to hire. Their catering is fantastic and also affordable. The platter sizes are huge and of great quality. I would honestly recommend this place for any function or special occasion.

Thank you for making our night so special.

Visited the tavern for the first time in about 12 months on Saturday 25/02/17, was very disappointed that Kilkenny beer is no longer available, had a glass of wine which must have been 2 or 3 days old, it was rancid. The waitress who turned out to be the floor manager was somewhat abrupt with her reply and made a big song and dance about drinks being changed regularly.

The food was atrocious to say the least, my companion ordered a 3 little piggies burger, the only thing thing that was edible was the pulled pork part of it, the rest was just not up to scratch.

In my case, I ordered a Byron Bay burger, the patty was the driest piece of meat I've eaten in my 70 years on this Earth, it was accompanied by a square piece of something that I was unable to work out what it was, however, it was that hard that the sharp knife we were given couldn't cut it.

All in all both meals were terrible and unacceptably poor. the only redeeming feature was the young waitress that served us who had a fantastic attitude and tried to go out of her way to assist us.

Pity that I couldn't say the same about the floor manager whose attitude was the complete opposite. I did not particularly liked being told untruths such as the fact that the Tavern had not changed hands, which in fact happened about 18 months ago.

We were given a 20% discount, which I refused but they wouldn't take the full amount. The discount really meant very little. Needless to say that we shall not be returning in the foreseeable future.
