Deceptive and misleading website.
Searched for a specific monitor using exact model number in inverted commas to return only exact items, needed this monitor to match an existing monitor I have.
Website returned only 1 item, which was a flat screen version of the monitor I needed. No mention on the website that this was a flat monitor. Monitor arrived, I opened, noticed it was flat and attempted to return, they won't accept return as item is open.
Ordinarily I can understand that position, but the website was completely misleading and directed me to the wrong product. Email trail with customer service exposes MANLY LIES on their part to get out of refunding the purchase.
Absolutely horrible service and no accountability for their shortcomings. Astounded that an IT business can't operate a website effectively. That says something.response / report this review -

Got best deal online on Lg monitor and picked up from west ryde Branch. Worked perfectly for me, no wait time, no parcel collections. Cool staff at counter.

Went in to shop for parts.
Gino - Was very helpful with sorting through which parts I needed. He also informed me of the process and took the time to show me which parts were needed (compatible) for my build.

Want me to pay a $99 diagnostics fee for a faulty part. RAM pricing is also against the Australian Consumer Law by suggesting they are half price, when they were never sold at that price to begin with.

I just bought a PC and compared several retailers and eBayUMart were the cheapest (plus modifying or removing parts on eBay is harder and they often don't subtract costs properly). Zak and the others at the store as well as the phone staff in their Qld office were also very helpful in terms of suggesting a switch in my SSD which I subsequently read up on as showing large improvements in benchmarkingthese guys know their stuff! Also took the time to answer my Qs and ensure things like surround sound speakers had long enough cables. UMart's interface of selecting individual parts is very useful and the site is clean and fast.

Bought 2 x desktop computers plus accessories. So impressed, only buy from Umart west Ryde. Not a wiz however, the staff have educated me on hardware, software, virus protection, cables, peripherals, etc After market service is brilliant, staff very engaging and knowledgeable. Prepared to share experiences.

Cheapest price I could find for the items I wanted. Fast postage and I had a checkout problem which they were very responsive too and able to fix quickly. The only negative was they add a surcharge during the checkout process if you pay via credit card but this is not an uncommon practice for online retailers. I will definitely shop with them again if their price is still competitive.

Dodgy 30 Day Change of Mind Refund Policy - so beware of the so called arbitrary "Restocking Fee" that they impose contrary to their Returns Policy wording that initially leads you to believe that it is a Bona Fide offer and entitles you to a complete refund of the products purchase price (less the Freight Charge of course) as long as the returned item is in good order and mint re-saleable condition in its original packaging within the stated thirty days - which of course it was.
So I brought my complaint to Umarts' attention again and received a patronising message saying "thank you for reaching out to us". Their stalling in response to my phone and emailed communications made it obvious over time, that they had no intention of addressing my complaint and refunding the remaining twenty dollars of the purchase price .
They later closed the ticket inspite of the fact that the complaint was still active and even though I had sent them all the details in numerous emails, to avoid any misunderstanding.
On the PLUS side though the Courier got the item to me in around 3 days -
very efficient.
Overall a very Negative Experience so I wont be dealing with Umart again as a result not worth the aggravation.
Grudgingly rated at one out of five for the Couriers sake.response / report this review -

Purchased a Core V71 case which ended up being opened and missing parts, however I was pleasantly surprised with the good customer service they provided to resolve the issue. The missing parts were replaced and I was given a small discount on the item.
I was initially thinking of not coming back as an SSD I had purchased previously was also opened (I was aware of that one when I picked it up at purchase though and it has been fine since), but given the great service I have received I am happy to keep using them and am confident it is an issue with their supplier and not the store or staff. best price and good quality products and the staffs have good knowledge about computer, the Asian lady helped me to find a good mouse and I am very happy with my all purchases , the only think that need more attention is phone calls sometimes hard to rich 😊overall 10/10

My new 'go to' computer shop, product range varies depending on what your after, but customer service is better than most computer stores in Sydney. Haven't had a bad experience yet, staff are also great to talk to and enthusiastic.
