Love this place. Great location, friendly owners, perfect breakfasts, great showers, comfy beds. Bring a double adaptor as there arent many power points.

In North America the term motor inn often has negative connotations. But, Tropicana is different. As much as it looks like a motor inn they do a lot to improve upon the term. There is a lot of attention to detail in the rooms. Good storage, good use of space, VERY clean rooms and beds, newly renovated rooms and showers But, there are also small details that are worth noting. Electric blankets, real soap dispensers, Continental breakfast and the friendly owners who made us feel welcomed (but not because some corporation told them it was good). Lovely stay. For a motor inn this is a 5 star!

Great place to stay when visiting Phillip Island. Clean and cosy room. Thoughtful staff with great customer service (cold day so they had the warm air con on to warm up the room before we arrived - it's the little things) and was the perfect place for a weekend getaway from the city. We'll be back, thats for sure! Thanks Tropicana Team!

Lovely stay in clean and recently renovated accomodation. Generous and nicely prepared complimentary breakfast was a bonus and the location perfect to explore the island and Cowes. Will recommend to friends and family

We had a family room with two twin beds and a queen. Beds were very comfortable and linen was lovely. Toaster and the usual tea/coffee etc. Pool and free continental breakfast was an added bonus!

Spacious/ renovated rooms. Walking distance to beach and Cowes town center. Heated pool runs with solar power. So the pool would be good only during summer.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Good sized pool and friendly staff. The local environment is also very quiet overnight. We booked a standard room but got upgraded to a deluxe room at no extra cost due to the low season. The deluxe room includes a sizeable spa. Hot water is excellent here along with the water pressure - very strong! A continental breakfast was included with our booking, but we didn't get up in time to take advantage of it!
