We’re locals and continue to return in the hope that its got to get better than the last, although unfortunately it doesn’t deliver the goods. We ordered meals for three people and somehow got served our meals long after three other tables that had ordered after us.
I had the Nasi Goreng (GF although I’m coeliac and ended up ill), and others on the table ordered the Parma which was dry along with the salad that had no dressing whatsoever and the lamb rack which was the pick of the dishes. I’m not in a hurry to rush back.

Great place for a few social drinks with friends. Good atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks and meals.

Great bistro to visit and have a meal ours was great and cooked to near perfection ( wife can be a bit of critic as she is an assistant cook herself) but she and i found this very enjoyable and all round great service and atmosphere.

Only pub in town so not much of a choice as to where to go, restaurant / bistro wasn't anything special. Meals mediocre, one meal was returned and refund was given. Good customer service from restaurant staff. Bar had cover charge even though we had been drinking their prior to eating in the bistro and then returning to bar. Live music was quite entertaining. All in all an average place with good and bad points. Being the only pub in town they don't have to raise standards as I guess there isn't much competition.

Reasonably price meals in a relaxed atmosphere. Kids play area in clear view of the dining area for parents to keep an eye out. Food came promptly and our large group reservation wasn't an issue.

Exceptional service, great parma and love the atmostphere with a nice cozy but utilitarian feel.

Went to Torquay Hotel on Friday 17 March 2017 for dinner. The food was very ordinary. The veal schnitzel was over double the thickness of what a schnitzel should be, very chewy. Likewise, the salt & pepper calamari was also thick and chewy. On the upside, the staff were very professional and friendly.

We ate and drank at the restaurant and bar. I had the Haloumi burger, which was pretty good but not outstanding. There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Lively but relaxing. The hotel staff were friendly and even gave us a discount on our meal, rounding it off to the nearest ten. Food was reasonably priced
