Ace hostel ! Sean and Bella (the friendly black Labrador dog) are super friendly and I had a great stay. The place is super clean, well organised and Sean is super friendly, helpful and an amazing guy There is a great friendly vibe at the hostel and more of a "small family vibe" as opposed to other places where people don't talk to each other and listen to loud music. I would highly recommend Base backpackers in Torquay !!!

The place is very good. Feels like home and it is amazing to see the dog Bella walk around and make you feel welcome. Good facilities as well. All in all very good hostel!

Fantastic place in every way. Awesome beer and good company. Iv stayed in many a hostel in many a country and haven't found one quite like this one. Brewery/hostel Genius! Lots of love gone into the place. Qwerty bits of furniture and artifacts everywhere. Never seen showers and toilets in the corridor before but just adds to no the uniqueness of the place. I very highly recommend.

Bells Beach Backpackers has a great atmosphere!! The place is super clean, organised and has all facilities for cooking. Good selection of books and a nice living room for entertainment. Sean was very friendly and Bella is such a lovely dog.

Bells Beach Backpacker is the best backpacker hostel I have ever stayed. It is clean, got super comfy bed and lounge, clean bathroom and toilet, model facilities in kitchen, living area and rooms. It has very reasonable price and wide range of different room options to choose from. The atmosphere created in the hostel is warm and family like, I really enjoyed my stay and sure anyone will feel the same.

I had a fantastic stay. Sean and doggy Bella are very welcoming. The kitchen/lounge facilities are great. The bed was REALLY comfy. The place was all very clean. The showers wouldn't mind a facelift, but I wasn't bothered in the slightest. Would definitely recommend to others!

Relaxing stay, well appointed with a fantastic kitchen, clean as a pin, and easy to sleep after 10PM. Like a happy family home.

Showers disconnected from room and requires outdoor walk into another building; large shared covered outdoor seating with fridge, grill, sink and utensils/plates; very friendly owner; has dog; bunk bed style rooms with small lockers in the room - need to bring your own lock if you want it secured

Cost a bit more than other places but needs we comfy and beds pre-made. Good quality showers. Friendly staff. Would recommend if you're in the area and need basic accommodation.

Friendly staff provided good information over the phone. Clean. Amazing kitchen. Like amazing chef's gas range stove. Nice people. Good location. Nice, quiet room. I stayed in the four person room with one other person.
