Stayed in a sea view cabin & it was amazing! Will definitely be travelling back soon.
Great location within easy walking distance to Torquay Surf beach and walking tracks around the coastline. Short walking distance to cafés, specialty shops and pub. Lots of big shady trees and well maintained grounds. The amenities are a little dated but very clean. Small but well equipped camp kitchen. Owners very friendly and helpful.
Pretty Good Place.
But brooms taste 10/10
Stayed in the dunes campsite. Great access to the beach. Facilities were clean and in great working order. Would stay again
Went their with a couple of mates. First night heard the neighbours in a tent having the loudest sex we’ve ever heard. Scarred for life.
The room has a funny smell, but is a great place to stay as we are only here to sleep whilst out exploring the great ocean road.
Very nice kitchen, nice view depending on where your cabin is. No WiFi available at the cabin but there is a spot which has free WiFi for those staying at the caravan park. Some cabins are quite far away from this spot.
Was a fantastic accommodation. So comfortable was the bed I did not want to get out of it. If I am lucky to return for another holiday I woulfd not hesitate to stay in the cabins again. Well done for such a great caravan park. Keep up the great work.
Julie from reception was abrupt and unreasonable. Definitely one of the worst experiences I have had with a caravan park. We had a complaint which she was quick to rudely approach me and talk over myself and others and not let us have any say. Sally on the other hand was an absolute pleasure to deal with and was very welcoming. We had locals pass through our campsite and were enjoying our activities which many were willing to join us. I don't feel as though we were treated with any respect by Julie. Not a great experience with her at all.
Park too big for me, even in off peak period. We had upgrade to ocean view cabin but where was the view? Advertised free wifi but it is only in one small area of park and not in cabins. Left us with one disappointed teenager. Cabin was huge but furniture in lounge was very tired and uncomfortable. Otherwise cabin was good. Would hate it in peak period as it would be too busy for me.
You're paying for the location so if location isn't important to you then don't stay here. Right in Torquay and near the beach. The amenities are dated but satisfactory. We had several times where the smell of feaces wafted through our campsite. However I think that we were just unlucky with our campsite choice (it is a very large campground) rather than it being indicative of the entire site. Also you can't have enough hooks in the shower cubicles. Two isn't enough especially if you don't provide shelves or seating to rest your gear on.
Fantastic caravan park with friendly service. We stayed in cabin 23 and it was great, however the toilet did seam to 'run' all night, periodically having to noisily fill up its tank? Otherwise a great stay.
Have stayed for a couple of years over the 4 week Christmas period. Supposedly stayed in a "family" area. Nothing but swearing and carrying on by the groups of younger teenagers. Different campsites competing with each other to play their music the loudest.
In these "family" areas. The parents book the site. Set it up and then let their children run wild for a few weeks before they come down after everyone else has gone home fed up.
After putting up with this for a few years of this, we will not be returning.
