Our last stop in Australia was in Port Douglas and we took a day trip to the Daintree Rainforest with Tony's Tropical Tours. We can't speak highly enough about this tour, well organised, value for money, great barbeque lunch, even catered for my finicky daughters request. Many stops on this tour with a little of everything to get a taste of this area.Perfect for a visitor that wants to pack things in in a day. Highly recommend.
Totally overrated - The park entries are free. Lunch is terrible. Everything is in a rush. If you want to waste your $190 then go for it.
Jens was an amazing guide.Very passionate about his vast knowledge. Was a memorable day. Fabulous lunch - being vegetarian was no trouble at all. The crocs were a highlight. Thanks again. Nicola
Really enjoyed our day! Our guide was Gary, he was nice and told us a lot of interesting stuff!
Tonys aunty from Manilla NSW recomendedthis tour 4 of us went and had a fantastic day. Steve was our guide and Randall was the guide for the other bus both of them are great guys service, food, comentry and the places we. visited were brilliant. A highlight was sighting a casowary and its chicks in the wild.Tick this tour of your bucket list
Thanks for a great day Tony. Very informative, fun all the way through, and everything including all travel, tasty muffins and lunch was taken care of. Having an exclusive private swim at Noah Valley creek after lunch was the highlight. Highly recommended.
Excellent tour!!!! Our guide was amazing, je really knows about the forest and explain to us a lot of things. It was amazing!!!
Excellent and great value. Driver was very informative and coped with having to change things around due to the weather. The tour on private property was excellent and often results in being close to a cassowary bird. These birds will be extinct soon unless people start to protect them, their habitat and ban dogs. 4Wd bus was comfortable and necessary with numerous creek crossings. Highly recommended
Tour guides excellent. Good sense of humour, very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, took care of everything. Two rainforest walks, both were great. Not too physically demanding, could cause some concern if particularly overweight or fragile. Daintree River ride excellent, owner's dog joined us! Spotted a couple crocodiles, learnt a lot about the history of the area. Lunch was tasty and well organised. No guarantees on seeing any animals, so recommend for plant and history lovers definitely, and those happy to take a stroll/hike and likely see some fauna.
My wife and I did this trip in April and it was by far the best thing we did in Australia. We loved our day out with this company. Everything was taken care of and in comparison with other companies this represented the best value for money because of their inclusions and small group. Tony is very friendly and knowledgeable with all things in the rainforest and area and we would definitely recommend this tour. As a matter of fact we have already done so. Great day. Thank you.
