Stopped here for lunch. It was very busy but we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and shown to our table. The menu was lively and fresh. Cannot fault the young waitress. I ordered a large almond milk cappuccino with our meals. She told me shortly after that they make their own almond milk and didn't have enough left for a large but could do a small one. She told me it would be worth it and I'm glad she did! It was awesome. The food was very tasty and although their was a bit of a wait for it (we were apologised to about the wait and kept informed-so very appreciative of this ), it was worth waiting for. We will be back next time we pass through.
Great coffee. Great food. #woodendlove
This place needs a reality check. Sky high prices & average menu. We used to stop by every time we visited Woodend, this time we left without food after trying to enjoy the worlds most basic $5 Chocolate milkshake, made without love, and really not feeling it - so we left without finishing our drink to find somewhere that cares.
Guys you have to make something better than we can make at home - or your average punter would rather BE at home.
Here’s what a Chocolate Milkshake looks like at Galley Diner in the next township..
Liven up :) you used to be great!!
Good coffee blend. Smooth. A gem in this place.
Great coffee. More importantly, friendly and honest staff. Let $20 note on table inadvertently and woman followed us to cat across road to teturn it. Thanks!
Loved the food however far too expensive. Every food item on the menu could come down by at least $5.
Expensive for what was produced. $18 for potato and bacon soup with two slices of sourdough toast. Soup was nice, not amazing, can't really get toast wrong.
Salmon bagel was cheeky at $20. Came with no side (salad or a few crisps would have been nice). Egg was poached well though, still runny.
Service was a bit slowbut not horrendous.
Very enjoyable food and coffee. We go back most times when we are in Woodend.
Horrendous food and service.
I had the vegan delight which was very good, each food in the plate tasted amazing. I think they use organic food as it was very tasty. I also had the beetroot juice, very fresh and tasty and potato with Rosmarin as a side, very good. They have many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Highly recommended
We love coming here every time we visit Woodend. Delicious breakfast. The menu has GF and veg options too. I recommend the hot chocolate for a treat.
Service was a little slow initially, but the food came fast and the corn fritters were excellent as was the fresh juice. Note: this is not the best place in town to get soy chai
