We are here recently as I remembered it being great last time I visited the Grampians about five years ago and it did not disappoint.
We ordered prawns and dumplings for an entree and they were delicious. For mains we had a chicken roulade type of thing and pork belly which were both tasty.
We shared a creme brûlée and a warm chocolate cake that were divine.
The restaurant was cozy and had nice music, and the hosts were really welcoming and attentive.
They also have a friendly kangaroo that comes up to their window for bread and I got to feed him which was an experience. We loved this place and wished we had gone here the second night of our stay as we thought we'd try somewhere else but it wasn't nearly as good.
I'd recommend if you go to the Grampians you definitely eat at this place. Yum!

Friendly service. The owners keep bookings minimal so the standard remains high. Reasonably priced main $25- $30) both delicious. Best view of Halls Gap escarpment hands down.

Wonderful menu selection at a very reasonable price. Great atmosphere and terrific service. The view is absolutely amazing, if you're not lucky enough to get a seat by the window don't worry as the food is so tantalising and delicious you'll soon be distracted by your plate.

Had a perfect dinner here. Angus beef steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare. Barramundi fish was super fresh. Strawberry and Passionfruit with Meringue was quite good too. Friendly service, reasonably priced (mains was 20-30 each). Do drop by (:
