Overall not too bad but expensive to get in $35 per adult and lots of exhibits were closed. Crocodile had a very small area and the Wedgetail Eagle enclosure did not provide enough flying space. The cockatoo enclosure should not be there at all as there are thousands of them in the wild in the local area.

A fun place to visit with the family. Kids loved getting close to the deer and roos, as well being able to feed them. Pretty well maintained grounds and staff appear to be genuinely interested and care about the animals.

We stopped by and visited the Zoo on our way through the Grampians. We were not disappointed as we had a wonderful afternoon seeing all of the animals (besides the elusive Wallabys-little buggers). I would tell anyone thinking of going here to make it a definite stop on your tour of the Western side of the State.

Great independant zoo. Excellent range of animals big and small. Entry price is fair. There's a picnic and BBQ area for sitting in shade and relaxing. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Must visit with family.

We were very impressed with the Halls Gap Zoo and thorougly enjoyed our visit. Almosr a month later the children are still talking about the wide range of species they saw, the bison was a favourite! All animals appeared in very good health with spacious and stimulating environments. Well worth a visit!

It is the perfect zoo to visit with young children. They can experience close up interaction with native wildlife while being able to hand feed them. There is a wide range of animals to see, very surprising.

Great setup in the foothills of the Grampians, the Halls Gap zoo has a great range of animals on display, native wildlife in abundance and you can wander amongst a number of the animals. There are other experiences on offer such as the meerkats which is great fun for kids. Well worth a half day visit.

Great little Zoo, nice atmosphere and very relaxed. Lovely to have the native animals roaming free as well as the dear. Kids loved it. Would say you want 2-3 hours here, be aware that the only toilets are at the entrance.

Amazing zoo! Great spaces provided for the animals, but all of them still easily viewable. Incredible to see giraffes, cheetahs and bison out in the country side.

A surprisingly well-stocked zoo for a small town. A great place to visit with little ones as it is not difficult get around the entire complex in a couple of hours, but animal lovers will want to take longer! Get some food for the animals at the kiosk to feed the deer etc. They have BBQ's and play equipment but you'll need to ask for a lighter at the kiosk.
