I visited the Riverstone Estate with my mother and grandmother on a birthday weekend. We had an incredible experience and would most definitely visit again. We were welcomed very warmly and my grandmother was given a chair to sit down on. Tristan was funny and kind, she made lots of jokes to make us feel welcome and she had such a bright, bubbly personality that we felt immediately at ease. The woman giving out the samples of wine (cannot remember her name) was very knowledgeable and generous. We took our seats and had the most amazing gastronomical experience! The cheeses! The wines! The desserts! This winery is a "must do" for anyone visiting the Yarra Valley.

It was a perfect venue for us to have our wedding. Our total guest number including us was 44, it felt very intimate and warm. All our guests loved the beautiful views, delicious food and quality wine. The staff did a fantastic job to ensure both of us and our guests felt very comfortable.
They had organised every little detail perfectly by email and meetings prior to the wedding day. They were very flexible with any request.
The weather on our wedding day was not ideal but their contingency plans ensured it all ran smoothly with our guests unaware of any deviation to our original plan.

We highly recommend Riverstone Estate as a fantastic wedding venue and we wish we could return and repeat the day again ;)

Brad and I cannot thank the staff at the Riverstone Estate enough for making our wedding day as perfect as it was!

We instantly fell in love with the views and set up of the venue when we first had a meeting, and from there our overall experience right up until the end of our wedding night was nothing short of spectacular!
Nicola, Karen and Fiona were so accommodating with all of our wants and requests and really went out of their way to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted.

Having Matt as our MC for the night was just the best - he made us feel like we had known him for years and helped the night run so smoothly.

Having our wedding at the Riverstone Estate was the best decision we made with the beautiful location and perfect photo spots, and we can’t wait to go back and indulge in the delicious food and drinks as husband and wife.

A simply superb venue! We had our wedding here in February 2017. The staff, the views, the venue, the food - all amazing and far beyond our expectations.
If you're after a wedding venue please do yourself a favor and check it out. From the minute we walked in we knew it was what we wanted. That laid back vibe, with stunning scenery and gorgeous photo opportunities every where you look - our day was quite simply magical.
Of course, we are now firm favorites of the cellar door and restaurant as well, so if you are in the Yarra Valley pop in and try some of the amazing food and wine - you will be forever glad that you did!
If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Just an unforgettable place.

I'm not sure why this venue is advertising via Livingsocial. It's an absolutely stunning winery and if I wasn't already married would be in a rush to book here for a wedding. Their red wines are fantastic although from a 2010 vintage, so a finite resource. I particularly loved their unique Rosè.
The cheese and desserts boards were absolutely delicious and locally sourced but we were forgotten for a while until they just about started to pack up around us. Staff weren't even remotely interested in starting a conversation with us about the wine or the food which made for a bit of an awkward experience.

Absolutely gorgeous venue. Looks like a magnificent wedding location. We came for the wine-tasting and cheese/dessert platters and were blown away. The staff were very attentive and even offered us more crackers to finish the cheese when we had run out. Can't wait to come back here for a special occasion :-)

From a wedding photographer's perspective, my first impression of The Riverstone Estate is the 360 degree view of the hills and valleys. Able to cater for the entire wedding day without having to leave the grounds, from ceremony to photo shoot to the celebration afterwards, it is the ideal location for a stress free wedding day. Also, the view of the sun setting behind the hills makes such a beautiful lighting for your portraits, results not easily obtained elsewhere.

Highly recommended. 5 stars.

Really lovely hilltop location, with a stunning panoramic view from the deck. The wine tasting was a nice experience, accompanied by our hosts explanation and the wine guide. 3 of us shared a cheese platter, and a meat platter which had a nice range, although smaller amounts than we would have liked. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We will be coming back to try the menu. I highly recommend coming here. I only gave 4 stars because we are yet to try their food.

As soon as we arrived at Riverstone Estate and saw the view we were blown away, it's the perfect location for a wedding.

On the day, everything went smoothly, the staff were fantastic, food was epic and coordination was flawless.

We had to go with plan B on the day due to scatter showers, but the backup option is just as amazing as the preferred option, we really did have an amazing ceremony at Riverstone.

The only reason I haven't given 5/5 is purely to do with the correspondence, at times emails weren't replied to and needed follow-up calls. If they get on top of this gap then it's a definite 5/5.

Overall, I highly recommend this venue for your wedding, if you want picturesque surroundings, great food and excellent coordination go and check out the venue.

When you hit the top of the driveway you get what this venue is all about. Vast views, elegant setting, and a real relaxed feeling. The view alone makes you stop to take it all in. This is exactly what we wanted from a wedding venue. We had looked at others in the area but River Stone catered to all our needs perfectly. The food was amazing and they even let you add your own touches large or small. They were so helpful and even pointed us to other great suppliers that made the whole experience run so smoothly. Our guests raved about the day and that's what we wanted to make our day PERFECT. Thank you to all the staff that made this bride and groom the HAPPIEST ever. Just got our pictures back and reliving it over again. So happy right now.
