We stayed here for 2 nights in November 2017. The rooms are a great size and spotless. The bed is super comfy. They have a pool and happy hour from 5 to 6pm were they give you a free drink and the staff are very friendly and chatty. Its close to the city with a fee bus right outside the door. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back again next time we're in Perth.

The rooms are spacious and clean. It's kind of loud and there isn't a lot of parking. It's close to the CAT buses, and a 10 minute walk from City West station. Beds are comfortable, and there is room for plenty of people

The Murray Hotel is a great location (between Subiaco and the City Centre) with public transport and shops within short walking distance. My friend and I had a late check in which we were able to complete on the electronic booking system- which was located just inside in the entrance, which dispensed our room key after entering some details. Price was a little higher than I would expect but it could have been due to the late nature and only a bigger room available at the time. The room was neat and clean and had some small amenities for tea, coffee and even some biscuits :) The included continental breakfast was satisfying with the pancake machine a clear favourite for some. Parking at the hotel was fine, half underneath the building and half outside- although it was a little tight if you have a bigger car but easily manageable.

Beds were comfy, room was neat and tidy, but
None of that matters because the rooms are soo NOISY you will not get a full nights sleep.
Be warned!!!. You will hear every person coming home in the hallway. Every footstep & stomp from the room above and every conversation in the rooms adjoining. I'm talking clear to the point of hearing people shushing their own family trying to get to sleep.
If you enjoy insomnia a stay here is recommended.response / report this review -

The room was clean. Perhaps a little dated, but still good. Service at the restaurant (and in general) has been excellent with huge meal sizes. It it right next to a main road but it wasn't too noisy. Will definitely consider The Murray Hotel when I come to Perth next.

Decided to give the restaurant a go as I drive past this place everyday. Wasn't impressed. Chicken schnitzel was out of the freezer. Steak was quite chewy. And pepper sauce was more like flour in water and oil. Almost feels like a country town restaurant where they don't have the capacity to get fresh produce.

It's great value. Clean . Simple and fuss free . Breakfast is simple but more than sufficient to satisfy unless u r demanding eater. Employees are frenly. Carpark below the hotel is normally full so u need to park behind,which can be tricky to find the entry point. I only managed to find it by asking another guest.
