Awesome things in the shop. Didnt do the tour but got some nice pieces to take home at a reaonable cost.
This is a shop in the main Street of Atherton. It has car out the front which had been modified to look a bit like a crystal. The experience itself is through the back of the shop were you get given head torches and then head down some man made caves to view the various crystals from all over the world that the owner has collected over the year. Kids loved it. You can then purchase all sorts of crystal related stuff in the shop. Very friendly staff.
I take my visitors from other countries up to here, on the Tablelands and they have a great experience with the happy and courteous staff, whom incidentally, have a great knowledge of all the beautiful stones, and their origin. Next time I am up there I shall post some photos. Always room for improvement every place one should go.
We were hesitant to pay the family entry fee due to price but in the end we were glad we did. The cave takes you on an impressive and rare experience. Very well done.
What a great place! The owner's passion for geology, and crystals in particular, and creativity translate into a really magical experience. All rocks are not all created equal! Worth every cent, definitely bring the kids and buy your own geode, crack it open right there and discover the magic of crystals inside. Staff were brilliant in explaining what we were seeing. I highly recommend spending a few hours here.
Great attraction with hundreds of things to see. The kids love exploring the caves and all the little knooks and crannys.
The kids had the most amazing time exploring the cave! And got a stunning geode to share!
Didn't expect much but was blown away!
Amazing and beautiful collection!
Definatly worth the drive from Cairns.
Such a beautiful amazing place to spend a few hours. I'm in awe at all the magnificent crystals they have. Definitely a must to go and see!!!
This place is AWESOME. We spent 2-3 hours here. Rene's collection of private crystals is absolutely amazing, and the walk through was really very fun. If you're an adult, prepare to crouch through low spaces. The gift shop only had one till running so there was a bit of a wait - not a big deal but could be frustrating if you're in a rush. Staff were delightful!
