  Staff were fantastic, very accommodating and engaging. Food was great, loved the cosy atmosphere and they have a unique selection of beers. Cocktails are very well priced starting at $8 and not over $14.

  On a busy weekend we managed to be seated without any difficulties (unlike other restaurants nearby). The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive.
  
  The menu has a large variety, well presented and flavourful.
  
  Next door is the Platypus viewing platform, which just adds to the magic of this place.
  
  It's a comfortable restaurant, with lots going on, so don't expect to have a quiet experience, rather imagine a huge family feast and you'll fit right in.

  We visited Nick's on our Honeymoon recently. Staff were very pleasant, helpful & friendly. The food was divine. We had the pork & the brisket & couldn't help but share each other's meals.

  Excellent food. Well priced. Wonderful decor and ambience. And great staff. I travel regularly between North Qld and Victoria (driving) and this place is one I always come to when staying on the Tablelands.

  I had dinner with my family here as a kid,
