Very disappointing visit to the coffee club this morning. Waitress took our drink order and we asked for 5 minutes to look at the menu. After about 15 minutes and the waitress passing us several times we had to ask to place our order. I ordered big breakfast without beans. Eventually our coffees came and what seemed like half an hour our meals arrived. I got big breakfast without beans, but also without bacon. Mushrooms had no flavour and tasted like water. With many other breakfast outlets on the esplanade, definitely won't visit coffee club again. Ps. I got a $5 discount because they forgot the bacon.

Really delicious place for coffees. The caramel iced coffee had whipped cream and ice cream! Not what I was expecting but it was delicious. The iced latte was also good - very strong though! The smashed avo on a bun was good with the poached egg, and a fair price at $12. The chicken sandwich was also good but did have a small amount of chicken which was disappointing. The calamari was the best part, very fresh and delicious. The salad it came with had a very tasty dressing as well. All in all the service was great. Take away teas have also been good. A little expensive for an English breakfast tea but that seems to be the norm in cairns. Chai tea has consistently been delicious and the white chocolate muffin and chocolate muffin were both great! Not too sweet.

Really good service, friendly personnel. Helped finding us a table for our bigger group. They do take orders from the table, which is quiet unusual for the coffee clubs I have visited. So great service overall!

Dont mean to be rude but very very slow. Saturday morning breakfast only had 1 serve and 1 coffee maker. Poor guys were under the pump

Ordered "crispy chicken wings" from menu and when it arrived it was too hot(spicy) for me to eat. I double checked and no where on the menu did it say that the wings would be hot. When I asked a waiter about it, I was told that this is a franchise and the food gets delivered separately so it may not match the menu. I don't think that is a reasonable excuse for a misleading menu and my not being able to eat my meal. Very disappointed.

Dismal coffee. Apparently my waitress was a bit "put out" (judging by the unpleasant look on her face) from my indecisiveness at browsing the menu. Not a pleasant experience or a very good cup of coffee. The view is good enough. The thoroughfare is a tad too busy, especially at night.

I think franchises lose sight of quality control. They should focus on consistency. Preparing a cup of coffee isn't rocket science. It's pretty easy to see this joint relies on passing tourists to survive. There's plenty of other low star ratings for this place.

i ordered expresso frappe with no cream on top , it came out with cream and melted inside of the coffe beacuse of heat , as i am on a spesific diet i cannot get cream at all

I expalined to Kourtney "waitress" saying i would like to get my coffe without cream , she took a spoon to take the cream however i said the cream alreay infused with coffe
and i asked if it is ok to make a new one with no cream , she throw the spoon into the kitchen from the door with manner and and anger then started making ordered coffee, i have tasted it , she puts yogurt in it ! ( i believe she did that on purpose everyone would believe the same after her manners)

she should quit this job, if she doesnt know what the customer service is , i worked before in hospitality , this is terribble , just beacuse i asked a new coffe !!!! The coffee club where is the staff training ??
