  Ordered a birthday cake for my Mother and informed staff I would pick it up on the morning of Mum's birthday by 11:30am.
  
  I arrived at 11:30am to find the cake was not ready to be picked up because it wasn't decorated. At all. When I asked why it was not done, I was told that "it won't take very long".
  
  Well, nearly 20 minutes later I am at the register debating with the woman that 'served' me about not being willing to pay the full amount. For some reason, this idiot couldn't fathom why I would not want to pay full price considering they made so many mistakes from the very beginning.
  
  1. I specifically ordered "Happy 71st Birthday Helen" to be on a plaque on top of the cake - they drizzled the writing instead
  
  2. I ordered for strawberries to be cut in half and placed all over the top of the cake, making certain to specify that the cake must be covered in them - they used 4 strawberries for the whole cake
  
  3. I wanted extra cinnamon sprinkled over the top of the cake - I did not get extra cinnamon
  
  4. The idiot staff member went about cutting the first strawberry. on a filthy, metal table (most likely with a filthy bloody knife too) before I told her to cut them on a CLEAN surface - because clearly one has to be told to do this
  
  There were more mistakes but i am not going to waste more time typing out everything they did wrong. We were also late to lunch with family because these incompetent idiots failed to do their job.
  
  Appalled at the lack of professionalism, care and common sense. If you have no clue how to perform basic standards within a business, then find another job where you don't need to use your brain.

  The cake itself is not bad but the service is terrible and my daughter's name on the plaque incorrectly spelled, very disappointed, will not buy again

  For a shop that is that busy it was Very disappointing it was my sons 11 th birthday the sponge was very dry and not enough cream in the strawberry fields torte. I usually got to the Cheesecake shop in karingal but they are closed for renovations all I can say is what I got from Cranbourne was horrible. I will never go there again. Feeling sad:(
