Tonight we took our son out for his 3rd birthday - his first special occassion dinner. Porterhouse was undercooked bordering on raw and pork katsudon cooked to within an inch of its life. We had planned to enjoy a birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday, though 45 minutes after finishing our meals we gave up waiting for service and went home. What was one of the best eateries in the area is sadly now one of the worst.

Really friendly place. Pokies are far away from dining etc which is nice. Good play area for kids. Great kids menu. Food overall is fine. We had steak and was tender and tasty. Has a cafe with wifi and cakes. A good sports bar, plenty of parking.

Terrific staff, just so friendly and efficient. Venue is lovely. Menu needs to have a wider variety to cater for all dietary requirements tho. That's the only shortfall.

Presentable place, maybe even nice but it was really uncomfortable when the air conditioning is not turned on on hot days. Even after requesting the air conditioning to be turned on the staff still refused to do so. Instead the place is left at 26-28 degrees.
Found out that the Sports Bar and gaming rooms had adequate air conditioning (22-24 degrees) but not the dining areas.
OK we get the hint, dining is not recommended.

We love the brook, its our local. The food is great, the staff are friendly. If you are a member there's some prettty good promotions. On your birthday they give you a voucher which gives a discount on your meal & drink. My hubby & I call in for a drink & a flutter on the pokies just to chill out.

Awesome for a local. Would I travel for it? Probably not but great place if you are in the area. Family friendly play area, cool coffee room plus a sports bar all recently renovated and cool 😁
