Worst Indian I’ve ever had - chickpea masala was 1 dimensional and tasted like curry powder and grainy chickpeas. Chicken tandoori was too sweet and the naan was dry. Never again

When ordered as takeout this food might not be all that impressive. I think that’s the issue here as this place markets itself as both a dine in and takeaway and that is a bit damning. But if you’re in Newtown and you’re willing to take the chance, it is by all means avoiding takeout and rather; sitting inside and dining in. That changes everything. The difference in quality becomes prevalent as the food is prepared fresh, hot and packed with Indian flavour and goodness. The chicken tikka masala is easily the most worthwhile dish on the entire menu but that doesn’t mean it should distract you from the rest of the options, such as the lamb rogan josh and beef vindaloo. Each plate is served in a nicely presented manner and is cooked to perfection with no notable flaws. Only problem I’ve ever had is just the rice being rather on the dry side but beyond that there is nothing wrong. The sides like the naan breads, papadums and chutneys are also a fantastic addition to the meal, with water coming free. Staff are always kind and willing to assist you, attentive and fast. The decor itself is also very eye catching and gives this little place a spacious vibe to it. A must try to any passerby’s who might overlook this place at first.

The best Indian in town. You can actually taste the herbs. It's rich. The meat is always tender. The portion sizes are generous and you can choose your spice amount best Indian in the inner west.. maybe even Sydney

AMAZING VEGETARIAN DISHES. Large servings and plenty of gluten free options. I’ve ordered from this place too many times to count and have never been disappointed, the taste and quality is consistently fantastic.
