A fantastic place to relax and get away from the busy city life. So many things to do - fishing, swimming, bush walking, star gazing, learning about Tahlee's humble start in the convicts era, and oh their mulberries are in season right now. Maybe next I'm here could try my hands at cooking freshly picked potatoes in the camp fire!

These street view photos on Google Maps from 2008 are a gross misrepresentation of the 2015 reality of Tahlee. The whole of Tahlee 'village' is a privately owned center for camps and conventions as well as a new training and environment center. The new commercial kitchen makes eating a real pleasure in the dining room which was an 1880's ballroom. Tahlee House dates back to 1826 to the establishment of The Australian Agricultural Company. Any visitor entering the property must report to the office for insurance and safety requirements. Tours of Tahlee House must be booked through the Tahlee office prior to entering the property.
